Wow!! Cool. So here's my night shift story: As a nursing student i had to do my fair share of nights. At a rehab hospital for people who had suffered strokes or heart attacks and accidents and were slowly learning to walk/talk and move again, i became friends with an older lady named Lilly. She was a lovely lady in her 80's and had suffered a stroke and was now bed bound. She had shoulder length white hair and always put a pink clip in it to keep her fringe out of her eyes. Unfortunately Lilly had a second stroke and died in her sleep. We all looked after her, maintained her dignity and informed the coroners who took Lilly away. After Lillys room was cleaned and refreshed a new patient was admitted. However the lady that was in that room couldn't sleep. We tried to comfort her but she couldn't be calmed. When asked what was wrong she said...'Lilly won't stop talking.'...We went cold. I asked her what 'Lilly' looked like...the lady said...'shes a sweet old lady with white hair with a pink clip in it, she is nice, but she won't let me sleep!' I have never got over that! Freaky!!!!!
I have a creepy story that happened to me. I was working late at night in a house doing some renovations, trying to finish up some painting. I was alone and had been for some time. It was in the summer time but it was a cool night so I left some windows open in the back bed room so I could get a breeze. I was in the front living room close to the front door. I was painting. I heard what sounded like women giggling and talking in the back bedroom where i left the windows open. I went back there and the giggling and talking had stopped. I thought someone was outside playing a prank and went outside and walked all around the house and saw nothing. I went back in the house and went back to painting. I heard it again and went back to the room and it stopped. I yelled out" Stop playing games!" Then went back to living room. As soon as I got there, The wooden windows in the backroom slammed shut! (No wind outside it was very still) I hauled it out of there and never went back! Later on I found out the woman that lived there played with a Ouija board!.
I hope this is allowed. I have a scary night shift story of my own. I used to work in a nursing home as a CNA from 11pm to 7 am. Me and the other CNA's used to hear the nurses talking about the place being haunted. One night, we heard the door bell ring. It was used to announce when a patient was there to be signed in. The head nurse on duty says it happens a lot and it is a ghost. My co-worker and I didnt believe it and decided to check it out. We went through the two sets of double doors to get to the lobby. The front of the lobby is all glass and you can see the entire parking lot. As we stood there, we didnt see anything except the cars belonging to us employees. It was very well lit. We just looked at each other. There was no one in sight. Suddenly, while we were standing there, the doorbell, which is attached to the front door we were standing in front of, rang again. We both screamed and ran back towards the first set of double doors. They wouldnt open. We tried calling the nurses desk from my cell phone to have them help us open the doors, but my phone, which had been fully charged before I left home wouldnt turn on. We screamed and banged on the doors, still no help came. After standing there, banging on the doors for what seemed like hours, the doorbell rang again and we fell through the doors. The nurse at the east wing nurses station looked at us like we were crazy because by this time, we were in tears. We asked her why she didnt open the doors. She didnt hear us banging on the doors or screaming. I quit that night.
I was working nights remodeling a fire alarm system at a homeless shelter. One night, at about 1:00 am, I was finishing up work in the main lobby and I noticed a guy standing outside watching me work. When he saw that I noticed him he threw himself at the glass door and then ran off. The walk to my truck about an hour later was very nerve wracking.
ive been working nightshifts for a couple years now, on and off, but its one shift that is still creeping me out just thinking about it... I had just started my first shift at a new work place at a home for disabled and we had recently had a tragic death of one of our patients. So i sat in the livingroom and watched tv with no sounds on so i was able to hear if any of my patients were awake or not, and i had the movement sensors in the hallways that would light up if anyone moved outside of their rooms... So i sat there all nice and quiet, and i started hearing a tapping sound from the hallway, and the lights came on, so i ofcouse hopped up and went to check who were up, but there were noone in the hallway, so i went over and checked all the rooms, but they were all asleep, so therefor i thought no more of it and went back to the livingroom, an hour later it all happened again, and i checked the rooms, but all were asleep... at around 3-4ish, i heard a proper slam of a door in the hallway so i ran out, thinking that someone certainly is up and awake now, i checked all the rooms but no, i checked the closets, the storage rooms, the office but noone was there at all, So i figured.... ok, ill check the room of the dead patient (his body was burried and not there any longer) so i locked myself in only to find all doors and cabinets wide open, i closed them, thinking the family probably had left it all open for some reasons.... so the shift went all nice and well until 6:00 in the morning, i sat in the office and wrote my reports and i heard the slamming of doors again, so i checked the hall, nothing, checked the other patients, nothing... and then i checked the dead patients room.... all the doors were open except for 1.
I used to work 23:00 to 07:30 as a janitor at a soccer centre. One night, I was on one side of the indoor soccer field, across from some bathrooms that my co-worker had propped the doors open on for me.. Every once in a while, I would see the lights turn on from across the field, when I told my coworkers about it, they said "Oh, they're also on a timer," I didn't believe that, but I nodded my head.... Okay, so I slowly made my way to these bathrooms and the lights turn on for me. Like every other night, I went in there feeling scared, lol, had to do my job though. When I was mopping the floor in the women's washroom, my mop bucket got pushed a good two feet, and then it happened again, and again.. At first I thought it was one of my co-workers being a dick, but when I walked out of the bathroom, both of my co-workers were on the other side of the field.
This didn’t happen on a night shift, but it still freaks me out. I’m 18 years old and live in my parents’ house. I sleep on the first floor under a staircase (Kinda like in Harry Potter). On one night, at around 4 AM, I heard something running up the stairs to the second floor (where my sister sleeps). The steps sounded light and really fast, like those of a small animal. We do have two cats, but here’s the thing: We always lock our cats in the living room at night (so they don’t come upstairs and wake us up). This sound did seem to be lighter than our cats’ footprints, and I also never heard it come downstairs again. But I still assumed it was one of our cats, and maybe it just stayed upstairs for the night. The next morning I was the first to wake up, so I went downstairs to the living room. The door was still closed, and my cats where both inside...
”Spoopy” is actually a joke that started because of a “misprint”. for lack of a better term. Years ago a store had halloween decorations up and one of them was a sign that you hang on your door that was supposed to say “Spooky” but instead said “Spoopy” The reason I said misprint wasn’t quite the right term is because it was the word made out of wood rather than written on or carved into wood.
My boss has been trying to get me to work a closing shift for a while now: we close at midnight Friday and Saturday nights. I have managed to escape a midnight shift, and it's because of this video that I'm glad I have
I've had a very creepy night-shift story that was told on the Something Scary TH-cam channel. If you wanna see it, the video is called "death by doppelganger." The way it's titled doesn't quite match the story, but that's what it's called if anyone wants to see my night-shift story. I do suggest checking it out, because it has more detail than the summary below. Summary: Early in the morning, a couple walks in the fast food place I worked in, and they order coffee. A car pulls into drive through and honks its horn. This is odd, because we close and block drive through at night because of the neighborhood next to the restaurant. I go to take their order, and they order coffee also. I go to the front and give the first couple their order, and they hand me a little pouch with a powder. They told me to put it in the drive-through person's order. I told them "no," but they said that if the people in the car looked like them, I should do it. The car pulled up, and it was the same couple. I turn back to see the first set hiding under the table. I was nervous, but I put the powder in the second couple's coffee. I hand it to them, they take a sip, and drive off. The first couple comes out of hiding, and gives me a large tip. I wake up my manager who was sleeping, and we look over the security footage, and we see the whole thing. I wasn't imagining! The oddest of all, is that we never saw the car leave drive thru... I quit that morning.
@@pennypearls5030 David McNeill is just paranoid. You did well to have quit. I believe you were a witness, strange as it may sound, either to a time warp or to scientific clones. Either way you're fucked. If the killers don't come back to clear their tracks, then it's the government bend on doing a cover up. You know they don't like such stories getting out. Stay safe, stay low.
I work in a fast food restaurant and one day I was at work early in the morning to open, it was still dark outside and I was cleaning up the outside eating area in the playground when suddenly i hured someone calling my name. I looked around and there was no one around not even a car driving down the road. the rest of my colleges were all inside getting the kitchen ready for service. From then on I swear that there is a ghost at the restaurant I work at.
I have enough night shift scary stories to fill an entire top 10, though some of these top mine. I can tell you right now with the "slammer" one, I would have done a "nope run" after the first light failure.
I work in health care, the position I work is called RCW where I'm from, but other places call it PCA. CCA, nurse's assistant, and a few other things I can't remember, basically I work under the nurses and do the hands-on part of cares with mainly the elderly such as washing and dressing them. Anyways, I've worked in a few different nursing homes, and have worked nights in all of them. The first one I worked at I worked all evening and night shifts. In this first one, I would hear footsteps going up to the attic and the door open and close. then a few steps in the attic before the door open and closed again and then heard three footsteps on the stairs again, this was around 3 am. I was the only staff member in the whole building so I know it wasn't another staff, I just finished my rounds and all of my residents were asleep and they would have had to walk past me to get to the stairs so I know it wasn't a resident either. This building used to be a motel 30 years ago and there was a murder in one of the rooms. Turns out the room it was in was the room that was turned into our nurses' station, I would see shadows in there in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep and I was alone in the room. The second one I worked at was the old hospital for this small town that was converted into a nursing home after the hospital moved to its new building. It had 3 floors so it had an elevator. There was also a resident who upon returning from the mental hospital a few years before I worked there hung himself in between rounds. This building was creepy and had a weird vibe to it as well. A few times while working nights I would hear the elevator ding and start moving, it was never consistent and never at the same time so it always freaked me out and the small hallway going to the elevator was always a few degrees colder than anywhere else in the building. I always felt like I was being watched while working nights, and also heard footsteps and knocking sounds, and no matter how often I checked the residents, before and after the sounds everyone was sound asleep, one night I even went up to the floor while still hearing the footsteps and everyone up there was asleep, not a single person even stirred in bed. The third one I worked at, which is also my current workplace, is built on an old farm, and what I've heard the family owning the farm was buried on their land, and the building that is their, before it became a nursing home was where the nuns lived. The ones still alive live there in nursing care or on the supportive living floor. I was working a night shift and was in the nursing station with the RN and my coworker who was orientating me. We were all looking at the cameras for no apparent reason when all three of us saw two figures, one being a small old lady, that didn't look like any of our current residents, and most of the residents can't walk either, so we know it wasn't one of them, my coworker said it looked like one who passed away over a year ago. The other figure was a very tall, very very skinny, black figure that was moving between the same two rooms. Just for the hell of it my tall skinny coworker wearing a dark uniform went down there and walked the same path as the dark figure so we could see if it was by chance a worker from another floor, but when she went down there the figure on our cameras just suddenly disappeared and my coworker looked nothing like what we saw.
The only problem with that is that subs 99.9% of the time have different call signs that ships do so that if a radar detects then then they can tell a difference
They have other videos recently made but people started to enjoy the urban legends and what people want is what they get which means more views and sub's so why would they stop making them if people enjoy them?
@@ita9550 I was talking about that it felt right that Danny done creepy videos I wasn't trying to say that they shouldn't make anything other then creepy videos
I think what happened was he probaly killed her and drove to a store and was crying because he was feeling depressed and when he saw the cashier he stopped crying then she was still not moving because she was dead problem solved
tiffany benefield Don’t say this too much. Then you’ll just get it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND *OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND **_OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER_* And the you’ll get bored of it.
I watched this at 4am and I work the graveyard shift. The only thing I deal with are homeless people who sit at the table and constantly talk to themselves. Aside from every so often having to tell them to quit messing with stuff they’re not scary nor are they a problem. They’re actually the only entertainment I have.
My scary night shift story starts off at my part time Job at Lidl, I do shelve stacking and stock check. A few weeks into the job we heard some sort of noise from the AC unit, a week gose past and we have it inspected. Turns out for the past 2 weeks a pregnant cat got stuck and had its kittens in the AC unit. How it ended up in their we don't know and sadly 3 kittens didn't survive.
Truckstops are always full of people and truckers, truckers live in the trucks during longhauls, they are always around, during cold winters the trucks have heaters wich make noise. I doubt a truck stop is ever quiet, especially if theres a station open 24/7
When I was working as a corrections officer Georgia State Prison, the oldest prison in Georgia, opened up overtime for the first time in a long time. Since me and my coworkers worked in Smith SP a few towns over and overtime was scarce there we decided to try it out. Now GSP is built like a maze to confuse escaped inmates and has plenty of abandoned dorms. Plus was designed to where you had to call in doors over the radio to get them open by an officer in the respective control room. The day of our overtime we went through briefing and was assigned to our posts most of us followed the officers that worked there to find our way, but one, for some reason, didn't. While in the middle of doing shift changes we overheard that officer call in a door number and all the local officers stopped and listened. I ask what was up and they said that officer was trying to get into one of the abandoned dorms. Needless to say the officer was let in with no one in that control room and was trapped in a dark dorm far away from his actualassigned post. He claimed later that when he went in the dorm it was fully lit and was let in immediately after calling the door number. It sparked a lot of ghost stories about GSP and many of us never went back for overtime.
If you guys are open to considering, I think it’d be kinda cool if you guys did urban legends from Georgia, USA (not Europe Georgia lol). It’d interesting to see what you think is the creepiest legend from around here. Cheers for the awesome videos! Much love!
A quick story when I was a little kid. (I was around 8) Me and my mom were driving home from my uncles birthday party, it was around 10pm. It was just my mom and me in the car. I was sitting right behind my mom and as we were driving down the forest road, I told me mom " Who is the old woman sitting next to you?" She said " Thats your grandma, she died when you were 3"
Oh mate. Night shifter here, listening to stuff like this is what keeps night shift interesting! Did I stack those boxes in the shape of a face or did they fall that way? Is that someone moving in the dairy aisle or a spirit? Keeps you on your toes!
I worked as a janitor back in high school. One of the buildings I cleaned was (reportedly) haunted on 2 floors. I remember feeling like I was being watched late at night, but honestly the "scariest" thing the entities did was summon the elevator for me whenever I approached. I always appreciated their courtesy.
"I hope you're not watching this while working an actual night shift"
Listen, I'm not a smart man.
Too late on that friend. 8hr night shift but I have other people here. Still creeped out 😂😂😂

Summary:
Early in the morning, a couple walks in the fast food place I worked in, and they order coffee.
You did well in quitting. You never know where such things might lead to.
For all you know you were an accessory to murder. I don't think it was so smart of you to tell that story...that is, if it's true.
David MacNeil Then how is it that the car left the drive thru and wasn’t seen on the camera?
@@pennypearls5030
David McNeill is just paranoid.
@@firstblessings8777 time warps are science fiction. sorry to burst your bubble. clones are probable but time travel is impossible.
Or it could mean you have a healthy and well abled mind

I have enough night shift scary stories to fill an entire top 10, though some of these top mine. I can tell you right now with the "slammer" one, I would have done a "nope run" after the first light failure.
Love finding new (to me) TH-camrs. Great story telling and content. Cheers!
Just for the hell of it my tall skinny coworker wearing a dark uniform went down there and walked the same path as the dark figure so we could see if it was by chance a worker from another floor, but when she went down there the figure on our cameras just suddenly disappeared and my coworker looked nothing like what we saw.
at #1 I think I know what happened.....
it's called a submarine
I thought the same thing. Depending on where this happened they might have been followed by a spy sub or simply a friendly sub.
Vader Gamer ikr. Can't believe the captain didn't think of that.
I thought that
The only problem with that is that subs 99.9% of the time have different call signs that ships do so that if a radar detects then then they can tell a difference
He said it dissapeared off the radar after it collided explain that
Why does it feel right that you do 'creepy' videos and no other type of videos
Ava-mae Hickey they have more then creepy videos
They have other videos recently made but people started to enjoy the urban legends and what people want is what they get which means more views and sub's so why would they stop making them if people enjoy them?
@@ita9550 I was talking about that it felt right that Danny done creepy videos I wasn't trying to say that they shouldn't make anything other then creepy videos
Ava-mae Hickey yeah same!
Ava-mae Hickey It must be the accent.
Wait number 7 was the girl dead
I think what happened was he probaly killed her and drove to a store and was crying because he was feeling depressed and when he saw the cashier he stopped crying then she was still not moving because she was dead problem solved
Coltkiller Gaming I’m fairly sure yes
Coltkiller Gaming I thought that too
I agree
O_O
They should make a video on "top ten reasons why this channel is amazing" 😀😀😀
Varshini Kripa that feels like it would be just a bit egotistical.
I'd be good at working night shifts, I never sleep at night.

Don’t say this too much.
Then you’ll just get it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND *OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND **_OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER_*
And the you’ll get bored of it.
Next do creepy Hospital stories
Ben Timmerhouse wassup dude
Ben Timmerhouse YES!
I watched this at 4am and I work the graveyard shift. The only thing I deal with are homeless people who sit at the table and constantly talk to themselves. Aside from every so often having to tell them to quit messing with stuff they’re not scary nor are they a problem. They’re actually the only entertainment I have.
Literally watching this at 12:47 at night at home alone 😱😂
hi danny good video and scary 😳😬😬

My scary night shift story starts off at my part time Job at Lidl, I do shelve stacking and stock check. A few weeks into the job we heard some sort of noise from the AC unit, a week gose past and we have it inspected. Turns out for the past 2 weeks a pregnant cat got stuck and had its kittens in the AC unit. How it ended up in their we don't know and sadly 3 kittens didn't survive.
I love your Fox Shirt! :o
I kinda like the one where, no matter how terrifying she still finds it, the woman did wind up saving the coach's life.
I watched this alone... and at night... in the dark... home alone... yeah I'm feeling great 🙃
Truckstops are always full of people and truckers, truckers live in the trucks during longhauls, they are always around, during cold winters the trucks have heaters wich make noise.
I doubt a truck stop is ever quiet, especially if theres a station open 24/7
Oh boy, im glad that im not at work right now!
Lol loved the vid, and we always want more of you, Danny😉☺️🤗
Really good video!!! So scary!!!
But also your shirt is AWESOME I love it, Danny!!!
Why does the music at the end sound like a mix between Lavender Town and Kids from the Stranger Things soundtrack?
Love your vid ❤️❤️

Never a dull moment on a night shift lol. I have a few experiences of my own.
I am indeed watching this while working an actual night shift. Thanks.
The Dandyman lol dang
If you guys are open to considering, I think it’d be kinda cool if you guys did urban legends from Georgia, USA (not Europe Georgia lol). It’d interesting to see what you think is the creepiest legend from around here. Cheers for the awesome videos! Much love!

A quick story when I was a little kid. (I was around 8)
Me and my mom were driving home from my uncles birthday party, it was around 10pm. It was just my mom and me in the car.
I was sitting right behind my mom and as we were driving down the forest road, I told me mom " Who is the old woman sitting next to you?" She said " Thats your grandma, she died when you were 3"
HOLY SHIZ THATS TERRIFYING 😱😱😱😱💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
I'm watching this alone at night and i'm working on a nightshift. Thanks for the advise Danny

Hey Danny
Oh mate. Night shifter here, listening to stuff like this is what keeps night shift interesting! Did I stack those boxes in the shape of a face or did they fall that way? Is that someone moving in the dairy aisle or a spirit? Keeps you on your toes!
Watching this alone, working on night shift. THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!

I love this channel so much I literally play this on my lap top as I cook or clean my apartment, but never at nite 😱😱
