Visiting Retro 70's House Given A (Graffiti) Makeover | Toronto

Thirty graffiti artists and muralists were given the opportunity to immerse this house (from the 1970's) in spray paint art before it is demolished.

Wow Sally some really fantastic pieces of artwork, I agree there are some really creative artists in Toronto, to just give them the opportunity to express their talents like here and elsewhere we see such in the city, thanks for your time to take us on the show where we can see and focus on without outside interruption the many various pieces, being there in the reality of it surrounding you where you can breathe it in slowly would be a bonus. at least all this is being recorded in film before being demolished as they say

Beautiful art project! Love how some of the artwork on walls flow to the floor and ceiling. Gives a very trippy effect. The giant rat and the magic mushroom room are very cool. Also like how one of the artists wrote “stay weird”. Thanks for showing us around Once Upon. 👍🏻😊

Imagine the time it took to do the artwork, and the fun the creators had in producing their displays.
All emotions were represented from quiet and passive, to violent anger.
There was probably a sense of creative freedom in the knowledge that their work will soon no longer exist when the house is gone. (LOL...especially that one bedroom that exhibited such violent anger.😮)

Kids would love visiting that house, they should have kids tours of that house before they tear it down.

Terrific work by the graffiti artists.Good thing they did not invite me to impart some art on the house.With my "Trad Landscape" style you would not find the house..it would be camouflaged by trees,a meadow and lake with the roof acting as distant mountains.Good job they did though and love the 3D rat with the sunlight effect from the skylight.Great content.
