Me too my brother has one they require so much work they love to train and they always look for a job to do,i have a working line German shepherd and 2 mastiffs and my brothers dog is always ready to go i can't get over how high they can climb up and Jump they are so impressive but I don't think they are a breed for just any one they need a owner who is willing to sacrifice their time and money into doing it right
If I was 35 yrs younger, I would live to train a Mal!! I trained my GSD to inter-provicial Workin Trials Classic level in SA, but can only imagine what it must be like to work with one of these pups!! My babe Andra remains very special in my heart tho. She wasn't perfect, but gave her heart & soul to whatever I asked of her. No owner can ask for more - their love & dedication is priceless & can never be forgotten. Always cherished ❤❤❤❤
This little pup is gorgeous. Love tge way he goes on alert protection mode when he sees someone coming. “I’m looking out for you dad” mode. Then he looks at his handler to see if he did ok. So cute. And so young. He will be formidable when he’s full grown. And no bark. Impressive. I love this breed. Sadly I’m too old now to get one but watch these videos and live the vicariously thru them. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My service dog was a malinois.. I got him 8 weeks old. he retired 8 years old and died in my arms of old age 16 years old.. best dog ever.. but my current dog, a shepherd-rottweiler mix found me 8 weeks old and is now 7 years old and enjoying civilian life with me :) Your pup is magnificent.. well bred and well raised so far.. congrats.
Best breed ever, got a pup as a rescue, even though I had read up completely about the breed, you are truly never prepared, they require tons of attention, lots of patience, but man so loving and rewarding experience, my Maligator is now almost 3 yrs old, and he is so protective of my family, he enjoys playing fetch with my 5yr old, and walking around with the rest of the family, so smart and easy to train, best decision made Mal for life!

popularity ruins many breeds. The great ones of the breed are also the most taxing to their owners. better be prepared if you get a Mal, They are not for the first time owner.
The only people who don’t know this are the ones who don’t get online at all. There’s such a huge amount of angry, gatekeeping Mali owners online it’s insane. Like every high-energy dog breed, the ones failing them are the ones who don’t take the time to educate themselves (meaning they will never see this comment).
Anyone thinking of getting a malinois please make sure you can train him and do enough exercise through out the day to keep this breed healthy and happy, this breed is really energetic and amazing and this cant be control by new dog owners, and all the best for choosing a right dog

Yep! Wife and I were in Lowes with ours. He was about 4 - 6 months old. I gave the leash to my wife so I could go to the restroom. When I returned wife was laughing because 2 men started to approach her asking us that a Belgian Malinois but before she could reply he lie moaning growled and they stopped said oh yes! It is! And about faced. 😂😂😂😂😂
NO STRANGER should ever approach you when you’re with your Mal. You have him for a reason and it’s not to please the public (well meaning nor otherwise)!
@@petrusmaximus5363 yes they’re awesome too. As I grew up with Dobermans and always had them, it’s a set thing for me. But if I had to pick now I’d be torn between GSD, Rottweilers, Malinois, Boxers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Giant Schnauzers…and of course Dobermans 😉
We call them maligators and fur missiles. They are fantastic dogs. Easy to train. But they want a job and you just got a permanent shadow. Even when you need to take a poop in the loov. It’s really cool when you get the eye contact down. Like the dog can read your brain.

Beautiful dog!!! While in the Marine Corps we had a handler that had one. I never worked with them but they were……what’s the best way to say it🤔 Brothers. Like blood brothers. It was amazing to see the love they had for each other.
I like seeing these dogs. I'm way too old & don't have the energy for them now, but in my younger years, I would have considered owning one. Had German Shepherd, (my BESTEST buddy ever), then a few others since. Our mix & pittie are enough for me, now.

I had one like that. She was my heart and soul. She was a year when I had to give her away for personal emergency. But I trained her to be the best family dog in the world. She absolutely loves her new family and absolutely loves the kids the most. She is so patient and cares for them. I miss her so much. I still cry months later. I still feel the beautiful bond deep inside my heart. I will forever be grateful for what she taught me about love and loyalty and respect.
