  • I have misrememered the turbotank came out in 2010 of course.
One of my favourite sets as a kid was my 2010 Clone turbo tank. It was actually one of the first videos I ever made on this channel where I modified it to my liking. Since then I have ever only used it once in a moc, because it takes up half a grey baseplate to just display it, therefore I thought It was about time I repurposed it to something I would gladly use. So here is my Imperial Modular Transport that can fill lots of mission profiles for the empire. It is heavily inspired by the transport seen in the mandalorian season 2 as well as the originial turbo tank. As a kid I didn't care about my Lego sets being exposed to direct sunlight and therefore I have to pay for it as an adult. That is the reason for a lot of the pieces being Yellowed out in this moc as well. I guess at least it gives a weathered look to the vehicle. Thanks as always for supporting the channel and don't forget to subscribe if you want to see more and comment below what you thought of my horrendous act. I'll see you guys and gals in the next video!
The turbotank video that started it all RIP:

The guy drinking coffee had me rolling when you lifted the hood. Also, the added three interior play features were very nice.

Gotta get that caffeine even if serving the dark side.

    Really nice build!
Just got back into Lego after 12 years, and it's been fun to check out all kinds of great original MOCs like this!
The modules are a genius idea, and the ones you posted on Rebrickable are all superb.
If you had a ton of inverted tiles you could probably make the inside a lot smoother, though i don't know if that would obstruct the removable modules.

Good tip if I find a good bricklink deal that would definately be a go to solution. Nice that you found your way back, feels like almost all AFOLs had a "dark age" mine lasted from 2011-2019

I know what you mean, I turned my 2005 Turbo Tank into an Imperial Juggernaut ^^.

Since the original set was the turbo tank that should you that have 6 of those wheels, so my idea is that you could order the pieces you used for this one and make two of them using the spare wheels

Hi unfortunately I don't. Been trying to do some stuff in the 3d lego design programs but my skill there isn't anywhere near real life building, might try to pick it up sometime in thefuture. Though the pieces for the build is 90% from set 8098. Appreciate your comment though!

Those poor grey parts are so heavily yellowed.

We'll call it some wear and tear. A lot of them were a part of my turbotank set I had as a kid. It definately wasn't stored correctly being on a shelf in direct sunlight for 10+ years
