Really nice build! Just got back into Lego after 12 years, and it's been fun to check out all kinds of great original MOCs like this! The modules are a genius idea, and the ones you posted on Rebrickable are all superb. If you had a ton of inverted tiles you could probably make the inside a lot smoother, though i don't know if that would obstruct the removable modules.
Good tip if I find a good bricklink deal that would definately be a go to solution. Nice that you found your way back, feels like almost all AFOLs had a "dark age" mine lasted from 2011-2019
Hi unfortunately I don't. Been trying to do some stuff in the 3d lego design programs but my skill there isn't anywhere near real life building, might try to pick it up sometime in thefuture. Though the pieces for the build is 90% from set 8098. Appreciate your comment though!
Since the original set was the turbo tank that should you that have 6 of those wheels, so my idea is that you could order the pieces you used for this one and make two of them using the spare wheels
We'll call it some wear and tear. A lot of them were a part of my turbotank set I had as a kid. It definately wasn't stored correctly being on a shelf in direct sunlight for 10+ years
The guy drinking coffee had me rolling when you lifted the hood. Also, the added three interior play features were very nice.
Gotta get that caffeine even if serving the dark side.
Really nice build!

That would be cool for sure.
Those poor grey parts are so heavily yellowed.
