I'm really liking how that "new" Psylocke looks more "Asian," still a reuse is still a reuse, pricey one at that. Shame Nimrod doesn't have that much articulation (that's expected from that large chunk of plastic). Will probably wait for the price to drop. Thanks for the fun intros and reviews!
If you think about it in terms of 2 $20 figures plus a $40 BAF, it seems to check out. Would I like it to be cheaper? Sure. But to add a villain to the X-shelf, and to round out my Rick Remender Uncanny X-Force display, I can dig the cut of this jib.

And I'd like to see Nimrod/Mastermold to fill that XMen arcade villain roster. That said, I see no good reason to pack him in with those two characters. They'd have sold well enough on their own. I don't feel cheated for buying this three pack because I'd have bought them eventually. But that $80 on top of all the other must haves they've been dropping this year? That hurt the wallet.
I do think the new psylocke face looks a bit better than the other one because I think it looks more Korean or Japanese whatever race she is, but I do think that left eye looks a bit funky it looks a bit more raised up than the other one.
I’ve been watching the X-Men animated series on Disney+ recently. I’m learning about all different kinds of things. I know who some of these characters are now. I saw a review of the Hellfire Club figures a few days before I watched a couple of episodes that they were featured in.
I have this set and got this set for the same reason you did but I have learned to love the Nimrod, mainly because like you I love big chunky figures. I kept the box because it is a great picture of psylock. I would love to know what glue you use to fix the slidey stuff.

No Monger base BAFs to compare Nimrod with? (Mandroid, Crimson Dynamo, etc) I'm interested if you could swap the Nimrod head with Mandroid, at least. . I'm meh on Betsy, but YES, gimme the OUTBACK ARMOR Psylocke and Lady Mandarin variants! Pair OA with speedo Piotr and Longshot? and LM with suited AoV Mandarin? . Phantomex needed a Xavier swap head. Since Charlie took over his body prior to HoX. Not sure if that's still the case or Chuck got hisself a new clone body. again.
Finally, an upgraded Phantomex, X-Force suited Psylocke and Nimrod. Need a Black/Silver Archangel (same as the way pricey sdcc variant) and a X-Force Warpath and Reminders X-Force will be complete!...also $80 is too much, I feel that $69.99 was the sweet spot. It should go on clearance seeing as it’s $20 less than a Sentinel and Wolverine 😉. I’m waiting (whatever the outcome)
anytime a female figure comes out, the torso swivel is NEVER as good as it was for the Deadpool/Sasquatch wave Domino. I’m always hoping it will. 😪 but it doesn’t.

Look at what Diamond Select puts out in terms of sculpt and paint, for about the same price. NECA. I can't bring myself to buy Legends because of the reuse of sculpts with eyes too far apart. I collect Marvel Select, but they make like 3 figures a year - I'll never get my X-men team out of them. So I'm buying clay and making my own statues to fill the Select gaps.

I know its a bit of work (mainly the figures needed) but you could easily make a Custom all White fantomex, just get anotherone (acetone off all the black paint from the suit), grab the hands and glove cuffs from taskmaster (comicbook version), boots from Blizzard and just repaint the belt and boot bands white (heck you could even just do away with those two since he didnt really hear those in most of the times they drew him in his all white costume)
Those soft discs in the elbow aren't the fault of the mold, it's the factory putting cheap shit plastic through the mold. That kind of gumminess is an issue with regrind plastics where the factory reuses its own cast off and sprues. Supposed to be cost saving, but... yeah. Save that crap for toothbrushes or shower caddies.
Thats funny i only bought the set for nimrod. Ive been a huge have of him since the xmen animated series...i was totally shocked to see him in house and powers of X.
And ridiculous how they use the same face for all the female comic characters even this you can see the resemblance so unusable with figuarts mafex lines

No, she's been changed back to her white body in the last couple of years. This was at a time when she was a member of X-force around 2015.
I'm gonna use the psylocke figure as a kwannon for my villain shelf, so it counts as a new figure for me. But maybe i'm just justifying it.
