Robin Williams gifted us 90’s kids such wonderful movies. Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since he took his life. I had no idea that the man was in pain, that he was suffering internally. He is sorely missed by everyone. This movie was a huge part of my childhood and I miss Robin dearly. Rest in peace Robin. ❤
@@UKBxnzh Uh because if you paid attentions you’d know he had a mental illness that played a role in his suicide. Maybe you should research before you assume anything.
To be fair Alan's dad was probably devastated by Alan's disapearance and he was rich. He probably thought this whole time because of his argument with his son, Alan ran away or something. Meanwhile the town thinks he butchered his son, that alone probably caused him not care about the factory anymore and after the factory shut down the town went to shit. No one could ever afford Alan's house and his Dad was rich enough just moving and leaving it desserted. When I was a kid I had a replica of this game I loved this movie because I was a huge fan of Robin Williams and i'm also named Alan. I related to Robin's character. when I was 12 I got jumped by 5 of my neighborhood bullies too, cause my family was rich and I also got chased with bikes, luckily I was really in shape and I outbiked them and I had a very nice bike. I ran home and my Mom's boyfriend told me I need to face my bullies. It always reminded me of this movie. Years later I ended up working in the film industry and I got to meet Robin Williams and I told him how personal this movie was to me.
@@AllenHanPR yeah I agree with you. I was just making a joke, before Alan’s arrival. I actually thought I edited this comment to add when Alan goes to his room and everything is still in it’s place, that moment is heartbreaking. A parent kept believing that their only child was going to come back home. When I was a kid and saw this movie it went right over my head. However I felt for his dad soo much in when rewatching this. On another note I’m very happy for you to have met Robin. I know that can be a life changing moment. He has always been an inspiration to me as well. If you haven’t already there is a Mork and Mindy episode where they meet Robin, and it’s done very well.
Yes, although I don't think his parents have moved, everything is supposed to be there because they had died. I always wanted a story about his parents and how they lived after Alan disappeared.
It's an estate and the kids are descendants of the Parrishes that inherited the house once it was put up to auction. In real life there's many houses sold as-is, where-is that are run down derelict dumps and it's on you to clean them out. Mainly hoarder houses.
My dad sold his house and the people touring it liked it so much they wanted the furniture and even the car (an old Rolls Royce, he bought itr for super cheap and partially restored it) so he sold them the entire package. I think the only think of thiers they brought it was the mattress and sheets. Bought the paintings, tables, chars etc.

"Lets just keep playing until we get through it." This is AFTER a board game had summoned, from nowhere, giant mosquitos and murderous rampaging monkeys. lol
The instructions did say that whatever the game summoned will disappear should someone reach jumanji. Had they not continued, who knows what would’ve happened with the bats, mosquitos, and monkeys still running amok?
4:17 What if Peter hadn't rolled that five or an eight? It would be an obvious problem with as we see later in the movie... Judy: Alan, it's not working. Alan: Oh no, it's not your turn. Judy: Yeah. I was first, then Peter twice because he got doubles. Now it's my turn again. *Alan shakes his head. Alan: No, look. Two of those pieces are yours right? I mean the board game itself doesn’t require skill. That’s why you can have people in their 30s playing with a couple of kids. Surviving what comes out of the game is a different matter.
Even as a kid, all I could think about was what a horrible person that girl who left Alan in the game was. Aww, a few bats came out. You were scared. She made NO attempts EVER to save him? Couldn't go to an adult and try to explain it even if it sounded crazy? Tried to play the game? If I were Alan all I'd have on my mind was revenge.

I like how after the most terrifying thing the game has to offer Peter just immediately rolls again this kids insane 😂
One of James Horner's most underrated scores. He was a musical prodigy.
I like the sun ray is perfect in with them playing the game.
This movie I’ve seen so many times I can’t keep up.
Robin Williams Been In Jumanji For 26 Years.
2:54 he shouldn't have played around with the stove he almost burnt himself and got scared 😂😂😂😂
That’s why you shouldn’t have pet monkeys in the house till wild animals emphasis on wild
that's not a scared face he had the time of his life
Weird how the monkey didn't burn up, unless due being brought from the game, the monkeys are magical and not like real mortal monkeys.
5:14 Great Moment 😮

Favorite part
0:23 Sounds like the only way for the game to say "Over Here."

Shameful spelling or shaman spelling

Haha 😄 he can actually sniff out the kids from his experience 🤣
They open a board game that just got done doing a scary tribal drum beat and Judy's first reaction is "Wow!"
4:56 it’s not real Peter. It’s only a hallucination.
Tell him that!
Little did Judy know those batting skills were going to come in real handy when she fought off the commando elite!

I was 19 years old in 1995 when this movie came out
The CGI for this film still holds up. I think Hollywood treat the CGI guys like McDonald workers which is why content sucks today.

Jumanji full movie in hindi
dwayne johnson's sequel was truly insulting to robin's legacy, just a thought
Dewayne johnson is trying to be in every movie made i like dewayne johnson and all nut his films havent been doing that great lately.
The new Jumanji was fine but it was portrayed as a woke comedy and it had nothing at all to do with the original movie.
The new one was fine for offering a different view of Jumanji, but I much prefer the Robin Williams one
