Phil's bass on "Slipknot" beginning around 4:40...listen to this on a big sound system with a subwoofer if you can...this was my first show, and it's hard to describe how Phil's bass would shake the whole venue, especially when he would drop these low, open-string bombs...those low notes would just go right through your body, like it was changing your DNA...
I was at the concerts, 10 miracles. Mushies, with tank of no2, party hard bitchs we couldn't have a tent on the ground, we put on top of the van,, many people stayed in the parking lot. There's nothing like waking up after the first night of a dead show, second night all I can say is wow. It was an awesome show with a lot of new and old friends, I miss those times, thks Jerry for the music.. ❤❤❤
Excellent. I was just taking about this run with another vlogger who put up 06/09/90. I was saying these 2 runs are up there as the best from the year, definitely the Summer.
Hi. I was at these shows too! 😊 All were great shows and this is just my opinion but...I think 89 was ESPECIALLY a good year for them. Brent was still alive and the trio of Alpine shows was just frickin' kicking ass too. Chicago and Deer creek were also great that year...deer creek 89 may be the same set of shows you had mentioned or maybe it was 90. Don't know..but the years are CLOSE ENOUGH together to tie them all together and call the whole experience memorable regardless. Only thing about Alpine is security really frisked your ass good going into the shows. They really searched people and took your drugs and other shut if you didn't hide it good. But other than that, Alpine was beautiful as far as the scenery once you got inside...
Just made it to Peggy-O so far, but wow, Jerry, Brent and all the boys are just dialed in for this one. Like a well oiled machine, they deliver a great one! Thanks.
Woooooooo!!!❤ end of the week is here. Paradise awaits...🎉 It is that time my friends. Help is on the way! Saturday with the dead. No better place. 😊 thanks for the new post. Absolutely the best sound as usual
@RicoSuave8 I remember driving around Noblesville Indiana looking for a campground that was affordable. We came across and Old Farm about 20 miles from Deer Creek Music Theater. After Talking to the Owner of the Property (Doug) ,We asked if we could camp on his land for 50bucks for 3 nights. He said yes,and after seeing many more cars looking for a place to camp,he asked me if we could get other people to pay 50 bucks for 3 nights and we made it happen. He was soo happy for this extra income, (he made like 4 grand) He gave us 500 bucks.Which was great to get on tour. We went back the next year and he did it all himself.
Not just Bob but the lowest decibels they ever played. I remember a Bertha around '90 10 rows back on lawn. Could bearly hear. Just a mistake that night. These were the 2nd wave of the best stage in my life ...that band. Boy oh boy this sounds really good
I think two guys i knew went to these Deer Creek shows. They came back with a bunch of those old clear TDK tapes recorded on a Walkman. This sounds better 😊
You're singing my song Biff! No use for Mayer and Co. 🙄 Only two Dead band members who hardly actually play with a pop star on lead. The real deal on a Healy Ultra is much more satisfying and it's free! 💀🌹😇🤤
Every time I hear a show like this...I thank GOD for letting me live along the Grateful Dead's timeline in LIFE!
I am 73 years old and I love these guys like I did when I was 23
Been getting into the dead this last month for the first time ever. How did I not know!
Took my a while too. Once you get it, there's no going back.
Better Nate than lever. All aboard!
Hey now !! Perfect timing!! Gonna enjoy this!! Blessings and Thank you 🎉❤☮️🙏❤️💥🌹💨💨😊🎸🌹
🌹 🌹🌹⚡️🌹🌹🌹
This show keeps delivering. My gods they were the best at what they did.
What a beautiful start to a beautiful show. Thank you!!!

My first show where I actually got in. ❤.
Was there and stayed campground in tents, had a time you could never forget, ty for playing the tunes
First shows were 7/17 & 18 1982, my earthday! loved summer shows...
I was at these shows and three that followed in Chicago...but the two Deercreek shows were great for that era.

....and the help is still here, lol
These were 2 of the best shows I've ever been to!!
Brent's keys in IKYR is off the charts
Took the Greyhound to Indianapolis and rode my bicycle up to Deer Creek. They let everyone camp for free at a local park. Help, Slip, Frank sublime
Back when the only thing out there was corn fields.
That’s awesome!! Ride on!
I got totally lost in those corn fields tripping really hard really bad experience..
Oooh man children of the corn shit aye
Was there, saw Brent's final 8 shows.
This is my favorite shows of all time and I just barely got to Franklin's Tower❤😊
I love Deer Creek
God bless you who made this! Outstanding work! Masterpiece!❤
Hey, "Grateful"ly appreciated for sure.
Later Peace ✌️
I love the girl wearing the Bat Man shirt. In 1990 that logo was everywhere.
It’s hard for me to listen to 90s dead knowing what the scene was like at the time. That being said NFA and thank you for the next FIVE HOURS!
IWAS THERE 🎉❤❤😊#DOUGSFARM😊😊!! GREAT TIMES!@# AHHHH2BE20AGAIN
What do you remember/ recall?

Okay, it didn’t work out last time but dropping back in to a brown eyed women
Definitely one of the best weights
H, S, F opener was awesome. Waves of energy rippled through the crowd.
Bobby’s guitar was too low, though. Could barely hear it.

The Frat Boy Era 👨🎓👍
A universe better than the ungrateful walking dead and bad co lead by John Meeger This is the real deal {🥕🐇}:=}

Oh come now, Y'all don't like Dead and Slow?

Turtle crawl 🐢🙄😴
Dead and 'ludes😅
Saw D&C in Vegas last weekend they were amazing. You’re comparing a tribute band to the band it’s paying tribute to, not a valid comparison
Ooh I could feel that tower. I kept waiting for that opening sweep.
