- Jomtien Pattaya Beach at 7am is very different to the evening nightlife. I walked along Jomtien Pattaya Beach Road and looked at the fishing boats where the locals buy freshly caught fish. Jomtien is very quiet in the mornings and this area is only a short bus ride from Pattaya.
Jomtien is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 155 km from Bangkok in the Chonburi Province, Thailand.

Thanks for the video Heath, we were in Rawai Beach Phuket last week and bought fish from the local market, took it to the Restaurant where they cooked it for 100 baht, very nice 👍

Looks great , I’m always awake early here in bkk and often go walk before 6 , yrs it’s slightly cooler , and can see the night sky then turning into the dawn 🙏

I love early mornings well. I usually got into the office around 6AM. At that time of the morning, I got an awful lot done without interruptions, phone calls, etc. Loved the video, Heath. So calm and peaceful.

Everywhere I've traveled in this world, I see signs in the local language and english as english seems to be the common language for travelers and merchants (if they want your money). But I was amazed to find that in Jomtien, there is so much signage in Russian. Lots of Russians vacation there.
Yes, there are many Russians visiting and living in Jomtien.
Really enjoyed this video! It’s interesting how Jomtien has distinct areas, the northern part being very busy in high season, and the southern part being so much quieter. How come you’re up so early in the morning?! Or is that actually late at night for you and you’ll be going to sleep during the daytime?

Great video! There is one tall condo that looks like it has a relatively small footprint, structurally speaking. Every time I see it in one of your videos, it reminds me of the unfinished 31 story Ocean Towers of South Padre Island. Before they imploded it in 2009 it was known as the "leaning tower of South Padre Island". So, any leaning towers of Jomtien?

nice to be up early when outside is cooler and quieter. always like to see more of suggested hotels and condos. dumbly i decided to stay in bkk, instead of jomtien, for a three night transit layover after laos. never been to jomtien but thought three nights, two days was too short as first timer to jomtien/pattaya area to figure out with bus transfers etc. no interest in bars, so beach looks attractive. i almost dont want to hear that i made a mistake. thanks.

It will take about 90 mins in a taxi to get to Jomtien from BKK so a week would be good but a long weekend or midweek break to get a feel of the place wouldn't be a complete disaster. "Just Do It" @@jtns2845 😎

I don't think it has a name, or if it does it's in Thai 😐. It's open all day so you can always buy the food in the morning and take it there later.

I'm on Soi 16 now and wonder if catching a baht bus going further south will lead to a nice place to relax; maybe a good coffee shop or restaurant? Since I'm limited by travel on a baht bus, I haven't really explored what might (or might not) be further down the road. Any suggestions? Thank you.
