  • Mr. Tridip Suhrud talks about the life of MK Gandhi and how it still holds relevance in the 21st Century.
    Mr. Suhrud works on the life and thought of Mahatma Gandhi and the social and cultural history of modern Gujarat. At present he is working on a multi-volume project of translating and editing the Diaries of Manu Gandhi in association with the National Archives of India and a twenty-volume archival project "Letters to Gandhi" at the archives of Sabarmati Ashram. Some of his recent works include Beloved Bapu: the Mirabehn-Gandhi correspondence (with Thomas Weber), Gandhiji Ni Rojnishi (with notes and introduction), Hind Swaraj ek Anushilan (in Hindi, 2014), Kavi Ni Choki, (Gujarati, 2012) a bilingual edition of M K Gandhi's Hind Swaraj (with Suresh Sharma). He has translated literary and social science texts between Gujarati and English. He was given the Katha Award (1999) and Sahitya Akademi Award (2010) for his translation work. He has also translated the four volume Gujarati Novel Saraswatichandra by Govardhanram Tripathi.

    Same person praised hindu genocide by moplah, advocate for union jack on indian flag, during india pak war fasted for pakistan, read his letters against sc bose in book gandhi vs nehru by Ahluwalias.
    His every struggle was failure non cooperation, civil disobedience, quit india. After 1942 there was not a single movement ledy by them, 1946 mutiny was quite successful only. Even vd Savarkar view on untouchability was better than gandhi. He was no one only matketed by his followers who used him.
    Gandhi experiment were disastrous for whole civilization and impractical.

      Totally agreed...people just want to make him mahatma but to consider one person as mahatma his life's every decision should be like mahatma and gandhi wasn't the one.
