You actually reminded an important thing, that people can still connect with each other despite all the differences, if they are willing to do so. Thank you so much for sharing these surreal experiences with people like me, who maybe can never visit North Korea but felt still life changing thanks to this video.
I've watched various TH-cam videos about North Korea and I love this video!! The country has negatives, but she really brought energy into the positive. She even made the military man smile. I'm just glad North Koreans found so much joy with a foreigner to show that we aren't all bad people despite what the leader might think... (overall she had amazing vibes and the energy was poppin!!)
Most Foreign tourists plan their tours around a big holiday because it makes for a better vlog. There is also more tourists allowed into the country around these times to promote North Korea.

Why reunite? Why can't they just be two different countries instead? I was hoping more to have NK as an open country and made true peace with its neighboring SK. No need for reunification. Just be a good two neighbors, living side by side in peace. It sure is simpler than toppling the govt of NK (as that is the only way for reunification to happen).

I've seen other travel videos into the country, and I was honestly embarrassed, and sometimes offended by the visitor's behavior. Like you, I also have come to appreciate the genuine demeanor of the people, despite living under such strict oppression. Your travel video is very different from other TH-camr travel videos. Most of them say something scary about North Korea but you convey it more pleasantly.
Thank you for sharing your journey with everyone and making genuine connections with the people you met! It was really eye-opening to see. Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to separate politics from life in an authoritarian state ☹️. The people of Pyongyang belong to the highest tiers of society and enjoy privileges that millions of others do not. Think of the Hunger Games and the Capital versus the districts. Things like concentration camps for "political dissidents" and their families are commonplace throughout the country. Your guide was kind, but she is what is called a "minder" that follows and monitors whatever a foreigner is doing. Pyongyang is an artificially constructed spectacle to showcase the state. My own grandparents were refugees from North Korea during the Korean War, and have no idea what has happened to their families that decided to stay behind. As you showed, the North Korean people show kindness and joy, but they live in constant fear of surveillance, punishment, and in some cases state sanctioned death. I can only pray things improve for them.
I hope everyone realizes that Pyeongyang is not an accurate representation of NK. There’s famine and disease across the country and only the “privileged” live there to keep the appearances.
i hope you too realise that even though Pyongyang is the place for the privileged, people in rural North Korea probably doing better than in many African countries...It's not the 90s anymore.

Till date i have yet to see any substantial evidence to support that "famine and disease" claims like yours. If you have any supporting evidence to back that claims of yours please do share it here.
They aren't privileged, they are necessary. The United States (my home) and its allies have been imposing sanctions on NK for decades. If there is famine it is because most countries, who consider themselves righteous and humanitarian, will not sell them food. They are always threatened militarily and so soldiers get to eat before others, necessarily. The rest of the world is as guilty as well. The only available contradiction are a few supposed defectors who are likely plants, like the Global Warming so-called experts.

I’m quite conservative and I love travelling and seeing the world. I loved your philosophical closing and it really resonated with me. I think the world would be such a much better place if we stopped trying to control it and if we all just got out and lived it. Politics can be so exhausting. If we all just got out more we’d all be so much happier with what we already have instead of what we don’t have. Go out and experience the world people. The good, the bad and the scary. If nothing else, you’ll grow!

Its really wonderful VLOG which can express North Korea culture, city, and people’s joy. Most of the people almost never heard or seen this kind of tour video (in my opinion). This was just wonderful and absolutely great help for understanding NK. Thank you for the vlog 🙏🏼✨

@@llunex Yeah I'm not ignorant to these facts. I know people are suffering there. It's just that no one who travels there really get to see the "suffering" side of things because the country is hard core on their propaganda.
In fact I believe everyone who's been there actually ends up with the same kind of footage. So what I'm saying is that, I like that this video doesn't focus on the repetitive glum and depressing vibe. It's a nice change.
