She is studying to be a doctor and no doubt will have her own career and plenty of her own money in the future. She's also just a wee girl, her parents probably brush her hair cos she's their little girl and has lovely hair.
So he left his family to be homeless and now he's moping about it 20 years later? so his tragic story is his poor choices?? And now he's taking it out on her instead of working harder to raise his family up?! Like...
I really liked this episode, and Seppi is a kind hearted person, and i was glad that the family finally saw her, and that they all learned something. I know that Seppi became an ob-gyn, and some of her siblings are Dr.'s as well. I think she worked hard like her own dad did to make her own way. I do pray they all find Christ, because if they worship the image in mekka, the seat of the AC, who is spiritual and not human, it doesn't matter what you do in life. I could site this proof in Scripture, but the ai deletes it every time, and that is to prevent the truth from reaching people. G-d bless.
Awfully judgemental family. Rude. Self defensive husband. What does it matter if she's never washed dishes or made a cup of tea. And well done her for defending her father too!! He is perfectly entitled to spend his goddamned money as he wishes. One is not superior because they are poor. It doesn't make you a better person. How you respond to being poor or rich is what shows your character. I thought she was lovely. X
This family is very resentful. They should be grateful for their guest as she really is concerned. They are demeaning and judge mental they compared themselves to someone who is privileged. They are very selfish and angry because Their guest is really open, but they looked for everything so they could criticize. If I was Sepii, I would of just walked out. They were nasty 🤮 very nasty 🤮
This family seems fairly rude. It's not Sephii's fault that this family struggles, and the man seems to be projecting his unhappiness with his life on to this girl. Sephii seems to be very kind.
Wow the couple bashed her in the first day. Even as little as she used too much dishwashing soap, why didnt they have initially showed her how it’s done.
They were kind of rude and jealous. I think she was really open and trying to learn and they were jaded by their situation and can’t help but to be a bit resentful
This episode made me so uncomfortable.. She was so nice and really gave her best and they just complained.. Don't like this family at all. I get why they're bitter, but it's not HER fault they're in the situation they're in.
Hmm, let’s not ignore the couple’s volunteer work. That was a highlight, including their young visitor meeting a single mom and full-time uni student needing food aid (not through any fault of her own). I don’t think anyone was rude. Both sides displayed bluntness. Both sides showed they can take as good as they can dish out. Her sister gave sound advice - understand WHY there could be tension (she actually mentioned the hair brushing first, so he wasn’t really nitpicking) but also, that the young woman remain true to herself. And she was. Both sides had lapses in communication. The couple could have asked about her medical studies. They have a sophomore doing bio and chem, the father works in a pharmacy; they could have opened up a conversation in an area where they actually share things in common. The rich kids can go beyond just answering lifestyle and financial questions and voluntarily share their more productive hobbies or, as she pointed out, the other not-so-obvious sides they have. When both sides started opening up, they began to appreciate each other. The emotions this and other episodes provoke are actually fuelled by the format and scripts aimed at drawing an audience (controversy and conflict sell because these push our triggers). I’m probably years late to the party. Really hope that among the lessons absorbed by the young adults of privilege is, is the importance of active engagement in community self-aid initiatives. Other episodes show that some do have the knowledge and talent to help train others in financial literacy and the value of organization. And they’ll be surprised how much they can also from people living on the margins.
The father is bitter and rude! He’s clearly angry that he doesn’t have a better life and thinks that she can’t possibly comprehend their bullshit life because they can’t afford to live their lives! He’s the man of the house and can’t afford to keep his family but you have a problem with her?! He’s full of shit and needs to get over himself!
I wonder why the Wife and Teenage son is not at least working part time? The Mum was even saying some students have to work too. And the girl seems nice and not snobby rich person
Homelesa for 11 days and that was his change? Seriously? I lived in my car for 4 months, managed to get out of the car, into a camper, but now i own 5 acres. This family is horrendous
Her older sister is amazingly insightful about how this could look like for the family Yeah! They gave her a sofa... But, it was not a good idea to let that be an open area. Afterall she is their guest. They made her uncomfortable right from the word go. Wonder why! Also, the dad went out of his way tobe disrespectful and wasn't he defendive?
The couple, especially the man is not treating her very nice. They don’t listen to her, and they are being judgemental. Hopefully they will be kinder on the next day.
I'm watching this episode and getting irritated..can this man just allow the girl to breath, she came to learn and experience different lifestyle not to be punished.
i think this was wonderful teaching for both the family and for Seppy. and i kinda hopeshe convinces her family to donate for such as fruits and veggies for those in need. one day she will be a fine Dr.
They got a big chip on their shoulder, if youre in debt how about not having so much children! He's just fixated on the cost of all her sht. She held her own. They are terrible parents
Having children isn't always thought out financially as otherwise most people wouldn't have one and I found myself pregnant with a third without being a conscious plan as such in my twenties where you can be a little naive or less responsible . I think some cultures do like bigger families as its their norm and drs like to have four kids I've seen from working with them. Three kids isn't excessive in reality as in australia a decade or so they wanted a population increase and even encouraged a three kid ratio,
Out of all the clips I've watched, feel it was unfair how this sweet 21 yr. Old was made to feel. I understand the point the cpl were trying to convey, I just think it was a bit harsh. It took alot of courage for her to go & share a cpl days with them . She was far from her comfort zone & I think that alone shows her character.
I want to say as well that with iranian culture it is extremely important to them to get a masters or phd. They dont push the kids to work while they study.
I wish the would give the kids a budget for the week and have them make s meal plan. That would give the families an idea what to dobwith the items purchased as well as make the kids think harder about how hard it is to survive on the budget.

People work hard to have what they have. There’s nothing wrong with people having money, it’s money earned with hard work and better decisions.
They made her feel so guilty, and you could tell she felt bad
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉she is kind heart ❤️ and empathetic to needy people. That family was genuine with their words which can be hurtful. I think i need a younger friend like her to send me some clothes and shoes 👟 in Kampala city, Uganda, Africa 🌍 thank you 💞🙏🏾💐
Wow she has a heart of Gold Seppi!!
She is absolutely lovely and doesn't deserve to be treated like that by the family.
Hope the girl sees these comments!❤
She came to learn, but she was actually the teacher. Very sweet girl.
She is lovely and humble! The parents are angry with their lives.
what a humble young lady
I felt awkward watching this. Sebbi did not deserve the grilling and severe dressing down she got from the host father. She is not an idle rich girl content living off her parents money.
Like...
How bitter and judgemental these people are - so sad when so many others have been prepared to share and teach ..horrid people
I really liked this episode, and Seppi is a kind hearted person, and i was glad that the family finally saw her, and that they all learned something.
G-d bless.
This man is so vile like? She may be privileged but it isnt her fault he is poor. Like?! Also why are they in this situation, what happened?
Awfully judgemental family. Rude. Self defensive husband. What does it matter if she's never washed dishes or made a cup of tea. And well done her for defending her father too!! He is perfectly entitled to spend his goddamned money as he wishes. One is not superior because they are poor. It doesn't make you a better person. How you respond to being poor or rich is what shows your character. I thought she was lovely. X
what a lovely young lady ! Her hair is so beautiful . Ans she is very intelligent ...studying to be a Doctor as well !
Haters
This family seems fairly rude. It's not Sephii's fault that this family struggles, and the man seems to be projecting his unhappiness with his life on to this girl. Sephii seems to be very kind.
I feel like the parents had an image in their head and they weren't willing to get to know her even tho she told them that she wants to learn
In Indian families kids are heavily pampered for a long time as well, there's nothing wrong with that..
Wow the couple bashed her in the first day. Even as little as she used too much dishwashing soap, why didnt they have initially showed her how it’s done.
They were kind of rude and jealous. I think she was really open and trying to learn and they were jaded by their situation and can’t help but to be a bit resentful
She’s delightful
I agree they feel entitled to other people's success very disgusting characters God help their children.
This Family should be grateful, what if they were living in the Country where they came from ( allegedly).
Her older sister is amazingly insightful about how this could look like for the family
Yeah!
This family are the worst. You ARE HATING HER cos of what she has. Because you wouldnt treat anyone else like that
I'm watching this episode and getting irritated..can this man just allow the girl to breath, she came to learn and experience different lifestyle not to be punished.
He's the type that if she was his daughter he'd be so Abusive too her. She'd be locked up and never allowed out, No boyfriends, nothing
i think this was wonderful teaching for both the family and for Seppy. and i kinda hopeshe convinces her family to donate for such as fruits and veggies for those in need. one day she will be a fine Dr.
She’s rich and sweet and humble too
Why they're so rude with this girl and why the making fun they are soo jealous
Glad I read the comments. I thought I was the only one who noticed it. She had to cry to earn their respect. Literally.
Why do they interrogate her? Terrible hosts.
She is beautiful. Could be a model
These people are judging her for having money!
The wife could be working to help with the finances
Sepii just proved with her grocery shopping task that poor people have poor ways
😅😅 she wash dishes like my daughter use to
Based on the comments a positive, hard working attitude takes you further in life than being judgemental. You can tell this girl is being raised well.
Really bad representation, the dad was being so mean and judgemental, and she was actually trying and being understanding
It’s not her problem. She’s been blessed and it’s not his business to come on so strong. He sounds bitter. Shame on him.
These families that struggle to make ends meet are actually rich
Like come visit us
$50 a week for groceries… def not happening here with that much food and that quality
Its not her fault that her father workhard to give it to her daughter the best life she got today. They shouldn't be mean to her.
The family was so bad, so mean and envious, trying to belittle her every occasion.
they are so judge mental!!! she's a sweet girl!!!
They are jealous... her dad work hard. Its not her fault that she can afford what she wants and have a generous dad.
I want to say as well that with iranian culture it is extremely important to them to get a masters or phd. They dont push the kids to work while they study.
I think it would have been sweet if the couple took time to show her instead of degrading her. She was so optimistic through this whole thing.
The girls look and act what we call 'rich persians' 😂😂 the good room looks like they shipped it from iran 😂😂
Very sweet girl
I wish the would give the kids a budget for the week and have them make s meal plan. That would give the families an idea what to dobwith the items purchased as well as make the kids think harder about how hard it is to survive on the budget.
The host family could have been more friendly.Good on her4 giving it a go..She could have been placed with a less judgemental family.
