Such a life saver. I didn't use any lubricant and it still worked like a charm. My only issue is I think my piercing is still raw because I tried to put in a nose ring ,it went in nicely but when coming out the bottom yooooh it hurt I just stopped and put the stud back in without the butterfly. omg THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! i was looking for how to remove this without having to go to the piercing shop and i tried everything you said and it came off in one try!!!! i’m so happy. Going to let it heal for atleast a year or two before even thinking of re-piercing.

But yes it’s great that I waited for it completely heal because it didn’t hurt at all. Just be patient, and make sure you’re nose area is well lubricated it makes the process easier.

Thank you for sharing your story, I'm happy to hear you got that terrible backing out XD. Because of your comment, now I know what a butterfly backing is, I appreciate it!! :)
I got a bumb after a week of nose piercing with this same kind of screw in the back. Today it’s been 10 days and the bump is such big that the whole pin got swallowed up in the hole. Piercer asked me to remove it immediately and put a stem of neem instead. Watched this video to remove and after trying for a while it came off. Aah this video is very helpful! Thank you Taz. I hope it heals up eventually because the piercing looked very pretty before the bump 🙃

That was an amazing trick... I pierced nose 2 times. 1st one were in wrong place so i jst repierced. On my first piercing i suffer a lot after removing this stud. It also injured while removing the stud and got infected for months🤕... On 2nd piercing i used this technique and this is a life saver. Thank u so much❤

I was struggling to remove my nose stud which was like the same thing as you are having...the flat bottomed one. Now I did as you said & it helped me to remove that. Thanks for sharing this ❤️
Omg I just tried this and it's out!!! After 20yrs of my life seriously.. olive oil with a cotton tip just smear it all around - inside your nose piercing and outside.. wait a few seconds... and seriously use a tweezer and hold it. And pull slowly at it eventually it comes out!!! No pain!!! Omg happy!!!! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thankyou so much for the tutorial, I just removed my nose pin. I have been struggling for 2 days to remove it, I saw your video and I am amazed how easy it was .😍😍😍

Omg yass! You even have the exact same one as me!! I am having difficulty removing mine too :( Update 2:02 am: I removed it and finally added nose ring kind and now I realize I want a thinner one but still thank you soo muchh never putting that stopper in again !
Ohhh gwrl this is a life saver .... Me and ny sis got the bose piercing .... And we are in a pain .... This help us alot .... And this is almost painless .... Thanks gwrl ... May you have everything you want in your life ❤️
It's been a month since i have pierced and I was scratching my head on how to remove this, Thanks to you, I finally removed it. But now i realised, i have a bump inside the nose , hoping that it will heal soon.
Hi Chitrika!! i know how painful it is to remove it, so i congratulate u for finally getting it out :) thank you for your comment too😊 also i think the bump took a few weeks to heal, if you touch it it might get worse. good luck with the healing journey!
i got my nose piercing about 6weeks ago and the stud was huge. and i’m top of that i got this backing to is so i couldn’t take it out. for school they said i wasn’t allowed and made me take it out and it hurt so much but hopefully this is better
@@TazIWonder the piercing didn’t come out and my nose started bleeding where the lock is. my friend got her nose pierced the first time and it was a normal backing and from the same place she got this backing.
@@iman.s6119 I’m so sorry to hear that...if my method and other people’s methods is not working for you, the safest bet is to go to a piercer to get it removed as they are trained to do this. Maybe going to a different piercer can help too.
@@TazIWonder yes so i have an update i got it out finally and i put a new lock in but then i forgot and put the same lock in and now i can’t take it out. i’ll try again and this time i bought a clear piercing i can wear in school
@@TazIWonder i have another update so i finally got it out. i just woke up and while waiting for my new stud i was thinking i can’t put it in unless i take this out and i did. i didn’t use any oil but i used tweezers and it came out in one try
Fr thank u. I got mine done with a earring gun and the back so so tight that it was causing a bigger hole. I used your method and it came off so fast. Thank uuuuu
Thank you so much, you’re an absolute life saver, I was gonna cry cuz my piercing was sinking into my skin and I finally got it out thanks to you but now I wanna ask if I should put in a nose ring in the same place or wait for it to heal and then get my nose pierced again?
Hi Peach Cloud, I like your username XD. I apologize for the delayed response, I was not able to see comment notifications sadly. The approach I took was to let it heal by keeping a different piercing inside, otherwise it will immediately close and money will be spent again O_o. This method worked well for me. Although, letting it close and re-piercing is not a wrong approach either. It is up to personal choice-- I sincerely wish that your piercing is safe and healing now
Omg I’m going to try it now!!! I’ve been trying and crying for hours and trying to find out a way to find out how to take it off I’m going to try it and telling you what’s going to happen…
I have a question, did u wait for the piercing to heal before taking out the original piece of jewelry or did U take it out earlier than your piercing healed ?
Hi! Are you holding onto the backing inside your nose? If you are able to hold onto the backing securely with your fingers or a tweezer then you can pull the top out with your other finger. You have to put some force to it but not too much
Hey I've had my nose ring for 6 days and it's sinking my piercer told me to take out the back part but it's painful and my nose is swelling.. Is this method still safe to try even after such a short while after piercing?
Hi! Mine was also sinking within a few days of getting the piercing. So that's how this video happened lol, I took it out as soon as possible because otherwise it will make a bigger hole. It's painful but once u take it out everything will be able to heal. I recommend switching to a nose hoop because then if a bump forms, the hoop won't fall out. My stud fell out when the bump grew :O
Its actually easy to remove it,just use scissors with sharp end, then insert it through the small two holes in the back side of the butterfly like part..then expand the handle of the scissors little ,it will immediately loosen, and now no pressure, bleeding, pain, nothing and its done!!..simple as that..it really worked quick for me..hope this will help
Thankyou so much for this video! I tried pulling it out, twisting and turning, but it still didnt come out! :( I will have to try it again now! And you look very pretty! Much love, xoxo!
What else can go wrong this year😭 I just got my nose pierced when u went to clean it today it had this stupid back to it, I went to the same place my daughter went and now I'm in tears trying to get this out, it's new years eve and I'm crying over the pain I have on my nose, it's also bruised too so this video helped me and I'm watching it over and over until I get this damn back piece off🥺🥺🥺🥺 Thank you for this
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I hope 2022 is wonderful for you. Here is a quote I found in 2020: “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice” - you’re standing here today, that’s already proof for this year! And you get to say that even more after the piercing comes off. I know it will. I hope that made sense :-)
@@TazIWonder you have no idea how bad I needed this! I suffer from depression and times like these it gets worse, I'm going to print it out and remember your mind words. I wish you and your loved ones nothing but health, happiness love and so many blessings in the year 2022, Happy New Year🥳🥰❤
i got mine done with the butterfly back a few days ago.. it feels so uncomfortable. should i take it out and change the stud or just leave it in? what do u recommend doing
Hi there!! Thank you for your comment :) Mine got infected -the hole got so big that the entire stud could go through! Everything healed once I switched it out🙂
@@TazIWonder thank you, but one more question, like I said I got mine done yesterday they gave me the original jewelry for my nose should I switch it to the nose studs or no, I haven't yet because I keep thinking I will get a keloid if I do
Wish me luck. I just got my piercing and it slightly hurts and feels uncomfortable. I want to take the back thing off but my mom wouldn’t let me. She says it’s normal it have the back piece in the nose😮. She said I’ll get used to it. 🙄
I tok it out after 2 days because It kept digging in to my skin. I was scared the hole would become even bigger, but do you think it’s bad that I didn’t put any jewelry back on?
It’s not bad, but the hole will close! Meaning that the hole will grow back and u will not be able to put jewelry in anymore. Nose piercings grow back particularly fast :O it can definitely heal even with diff jewelry in.
What if it’s like literally my first piercing😭 like I js got it pierced a week ago and I need to take it out, the piercer was so bad but I had no idea and now like the skin has got a dent cause how much my piercings went it, it’s not Fully healed but it’s healed. It’s the exact same as ur piercing but like can i still add coconut oil on it and stuff?
@@katsareko0l hey! if it’s causing a dent then it is probably not the appropriate jewelry and it will be hard for it to heal like that. as a non professional all i can recommend is changing it to a proper nose stud or hoop at a real piercing store or try at home. mine healed well when i changed it to the stud and then hoop. a bump might form and that will go down over time. claire’s sells packs of piercings and it’s affordable. when i put nothing on my fresh piercings and never touch them, it heals but when i put oils or saline spray it gets worse ;-;
@@TazIWonder Heyy Im so sorry i got logged out my TH-cam so I couldn’t reply, I tried ur tweezer way anyways (whoops) and it actually worked to make it abit loose, it make the top bit pop up instead of going back in, the dent thing went away and now it’s id like to say mostly healed, I’ll be trying ur tweezer way again as I want to change the stud but thank you so much for your help, the tweezer thing really helped even move it abit more than all the other videos and advice i got
Same happened with me 😣it's so painful It has been 6 days I got my piercing and unfortunately they used these ear stud kind of thing And they said I had to remove it after 3 days but I'm unable to do it because this thing is hurting me a lot one more thing is that the stud from outside is getting deep into my outer skin and it's becoming huge sore 😣😣pray for me or else I'm thinking to cut my nose 😅
Can you help me? I have the same problem rn but i cant hold my piercing because it kinda “went” into my nose. So i all i can really do rn is trying to pull it out with a bobby pin. Do you have any tips? Thank you❤
Hi are you able to go inside your nostril and push so that the stud sticks out? Maybe that time you can get the tweezer to hold it securely while you pull it out with your finger. A bobby pin im not sure but you can try and listen to your body. Keep me updated and good luck 👍🏽
I got mine done on Wednesday but I have a plastic one not the metal piece at the back can I do the same ? I feel like my nose ring is sinking deeper in my nose and
You can definitely try the same method but I have no idea if it will work as I’ve never had a plastic backing on my nose...it should be easier i think. The safest bet is to go to a piercer to get it removed! (If possible)
Hi I need help ASAP I took it out !! I’ve had it for less than a week it’ll be a week on wensday since I had it done. What do I do I want a smaller one the lady that did it the hole is kinda big she used a piercing gun what do I do i want too change it ? I took out the backing 😭😭😭
Hi! I think it is okay to change it as long as you don't keep touching it or changing it afterwards. There will be some swelling and redness but that is normal. But you need a backing otherwise it may fall out. Or if you get a hoop, that is the most secure option in my opinion.
But you should always keep something there until you change to the new one. If you keep it totally empty then the hole will grow back...that happened to me before
@@TazIWonder ahh I took out the backing it was bothering me the stud is still in and I can’t even get the backing In too secure I don’t know what to do 🤦🏻♀️
@@ms.girlllll9806 try to see if any earring backings fit. If not, maybe wrap the end of the piercing with Saran wrap or aluminum foil, very tiny piece. In the meantime, order online or go to a store asap to find a new stud/hoop
Hi! I removed it within 1 week. It was too painful to keep, and afterwards I replaced it with a difference nose piercing. It was able to heal from there.
Hey! I know its been a year since this video but i cant order a nose peircing kit and i only have ear ones so if i use it will it hurt really bad with the butterfly back or what?
@@TazIWonder how did you treat that hole dear because that is exactly what am going through right now. I have removed the stud because it was sinking but I have a giant hole
@@TazIWonder hi i have removed that and it was absolutely fine then i had wear silver ring not since yesterday i can see small bump cmg upper I m applying cipladen cream Anyt remdy for bump pls helppp
Hey!! If this method is not working, I suggest going to any piercer to get it professionally removed, to reduce the risk of infection/injury!! Hoping it will come out soon!
hey! if it is making you very uncomfortable, i recommend to take it out immediately. it will be sore for a little while, but that is better than having a bigger hole and infection like mine was becoming until i changed it ;-;
I can’t even remove mine like that as I have an infection and it really hurts I can’t hold the top of my stud. Help me 😩😩thinking of going hospital to get it removed
Mine hurt to touch as well, and I think it was infected, but this method worked in my case. It was able to heal properly once I removed it. You can try to get it removed at the hospital, or a cheaper option is a piercing shop. I wish I knew more to help you...but a generous amount of oil and pressure can make it easier. I wish you the best of luck
hi! i recommend anything thin that you feel confident you can use to safely secure the jewelry while you pull it out. thin scissors might work, especially the tiny ones u use for eyebrow trimming! but don’t hold too tight because it might chip the jewelry, or too lose that u cut yourself. i really recommend getting it removed by a different, professional piercer-that is the safest option! the last idea i have is to try to secure/hold it by using your fingers instead of tweezers
Hi! I think the pulling motion has to be slower, but I’m not sure exactly what to do because I never handled this before. I recommend going to a professional. I hope it goes well!
It’s been a year now and it’s time for me to take this out of my nose an I think you method will work.. to make it smoother could I hop it in the shower and rinse it off good with some soap and water?

I WAS STRUGGLING SINCE I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW LONG
THIS VIDEO HELPED ME SO MUCH TYSM
AW yay😻😻happy to help thank u for commenting :>
Omg yass! You even have the exact same one as me!! I am having difficulty removing mine too :(
Update 2:02 am: I removed it and finally added nose ring kind and now I realize I want a thinner one but still thank you soo muchh never putting that stopper in again !
Congratulations! :D I don't think that stopper is meant for the nose unfortunately! :O
Girl I wish I could hug you right you, your video has really helped me remove my nose stud, thank you so much❤
Ohhh gwrl this is a life saver .... Me and ny sis got the bose piercing .... And we are in a pain .... This help us alot .... And this is almost painless .... Thanks gwrl ... May you have everything you want in your life ❤️
Thank you so much, you put a smile on my face!! I'm grateful that it worked out for you both. Wishing you two the best as well!! :)
I wish schools didn’t have rules like that :( but yes it is painful too. I hope that it will heal
Thank uuuuu
thank u for sharing the good news:D Im happy for uuuuu
It is up to personal choice-- I sincerely wish that your piercing is safe and healing now
Thank you dear.... This is the most simple method of removing nose pin...
Omg I’m going to try it now!!! I’ve been trying and crying for hours and trying to find out a way to find out how to take it off I’m going to try it and telling you what’s going to happen…
Hi :) is there any update?
It literally works. I have tried it a few minutes ago
Life saver i was so disappointed for my nose piercing just because of not taking out this Sh**, thank you very much and have a blessing life. 🥰🥰🥰
I have a question, did u wait for the piercing to heal before taking out the original piece of jewelry or did U take it out earlier than your piercing healed ?
It was getting worse the longer I kept it in, so that's why I took it out asap. It healed best once I changed the piercing to a hoop/ring
THANK YOU🙏🏽I BEEN TRYING SO HARD THIS HELPED SM!
I appreciate your comment and I’m happy for u :D :)
Oh god, you saved !!! Lubricant is must you said and it pulled off using tweezer very easily ❤ thanks a tons🎉
Your tip is wonderful but my question is what if you just got your piercing like about 4 weeks ago
This was so helpful!!! I literally just removed mine
Thank u so much❤️
Happy to hear that 😊😊😊😊
so my pericing is sinking and i tried ur method and tried grabing the top but it keep going down what do i do
Hi! Are you holding onto the backing inside your nose? If you are able to hold onto the backing securely with your fingers or a tweezer then you can pull the top out with your other finger. You have to put some force to it but not too much
Also, it will help to put some coconut oil or other oil around your nose inside and and out
I got the same thing done, but on both sides of my nose, u saved my life with this video
Double trouble is solved, I’m happy for u!! :D
I got it OUT!!!! Thanks alot it was truly an emotional experience but it didn't hurt thank god😭😭😭
You a lifesaver! And i was lucky enough i removed it one attempt!
LITERALLY THANK YOU SM, I WAS LITERALLY FAILING. THANK YOU!!
Wow. Thanks so much for this video! Exactly what I was looking for. How lo did you wait before removing it????
Hey I've had my nose ring for 6 days and it's sinking my piercer told me to take out the back part but it's painful and my nose is swelling.. Is this method still safe to try even after such a short while after piercing?
Hi! Mine was also sinking within a few days of getting the piercing. So that's how this video happened lol, I took it out as soon as possible because otherwise it will make a bigger hole. It's painful but once u take it out everything will be able to heal. I recommend switching to a nose hoop because then if a bump forms, the hoop won't fall out. My stud fell out when the bump grew :O
Thank you I’m so glad now my school won’t annoy me anymore I’m so glad I saw this video
My stud was 100% Easier to take out and no pain
I got mine 3 days ago, and I have the same exact piercing as yours. I am struggling to take it out😭. Is there a way I can contact you, I need help!
Hi! You can reach me here, but if you’re not comfortable with that I can give you my discord!
Awwww you’re so sweet thank you😭😭🧡 I hope it works out, and make sure to use the oil so that it goes smoothly!! :-)
What else can go wrong this year😭 I just got my nose pierced when u went to clean it today it had this stupid back to it, I went to the same place my daughter went and now I'm in tears trying to get this out, it's new years eve and I'm crying over the pain I have on my nose, it's also bruised too so this video helped me and I'm watching it over and over until I get this damn back piece off🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thank you for this
I wish you and your loved ones nothing but health, happiness love and so many blessings in the year 2022,
Happy New Year🥳🥰❤
i got mine done with the butterfly back a few days ago.. it feels so uncomfortable. should i take it out and change the stud or just leave it in? what do u recommend doing
Thank you this helps so much bc I just got mine done with the same jewelry and a gun did yours get infected or anything like that
Hi there!! Thank you for your comment :)
Mine got infected -the hole got so big that the entire stud could go through! Everything healed once I switched it out🙂
@@TazIWonder thank you, but one more question, like I said I got mine done yesterday they gave me the original jewelry for my nose should I switch it to the nose studs or no, I haven't yet because I keep thinking I will get a keloid if I do
Thanks a ton..!!!! I mistakingly got piece by gunshot, finally relived
im happy it came off😎 thank u for letting me know!
Wish me luck. I just got my piercing and it slightly hurts and feels uncomfortable. I want to take the back thing off but my mom wouldn’t let me. She says it’s normal it have the back piece in the nose😮. She said I’ll get used to it. 🙄
Wow...thanku so much...I was trying to remove it for the past 1 hr and nothing helped..but this worked for me well..once again thanku so much🙏
I tok it out after 2 days because It kept digging in to my skin.
U may have to get it pierced again if the hole closed already, it is dangerous and painful if u try to force the hole to reform😔
@@TazIWonder thank you so much! ♡
Uhm quick question can I change mine after 6 days as well? Cause it’s actually sinking 🥺.
Hi :-) yes you can, I did the same thing! It will heal faster once u change it!
@@katsareko0l hey! if it’s causing a dent then it is probably not the appropriate jewelry and it will be hard for it to heal like that. as a non professional all i can recommend is changing it to a proper nose stud or hoop at a real piercing store or try at home. mine healed well when i changed it to the stud and then hoop. a bump might form and that will go down over time. claire’s sells packs of piercings and it’s affordable. when i put nothing on my fresh piercings and never touch them, it heals but when i put oils or saline spray it gets worse ;-;
@@katsareko0l thank u for taking the time to update me and im happy it’s helping 😊😊
Same trying to take it out
Same happened with me 😣it's so painful
It has been 6 days I got my piercing and unfortunately they used these ear stud kind of thing
And they said I had to remove it after 3 days but I'm unable to do it because this thing is hurting me a lot one more thing is that the stud from outside is getting deep into my outer skin and it's becoming huge sore 😣😣pray for me or else I'm thinking to cut my nose 😅
Thank you dear you saved me May God bless you The best video ever shown for nose stud removal
That stick is lil bended
Please help🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏
Mine is looking just like yours,2wks piercing n it looks tight aswell
Hi within how many weeks did you remove your nose pin after the first piercing?
Hi! I removed it within 1 week. It was too painful to keep, and afterwards I replaced it with a difference nose piercing. It was able to heal from there.
I got it off!! But idk if I should put it back in or if I should leave it without a back
It definitely needs a backing, but not that one!
Hey bro! This was so helpful 🥺❤️
Hey! I know its been a year since this video but i cant order a nose peircing kit and i only have ear ones so if i use it will it hurt really bad with the butterfly back or what?
DONT USE IT you’ll regret it sm

@@TazIWonder OMG ITS WORKED!! I was so stressed out abt this 😭😭
Can u plzz tell me after how many days nose gin stud will remove???
What type of nose jewelry did u put in after u changed the earring
I wore the stud u see in the video!
How long should i wait to pull thus type of stud out of my nose? I got my nose pierced like 14 days ago?
hey! if it is making you very uncomfortable, i recommend to take it out immediately. it will be sore for a little while, but that is better than having a bigger hole and infection like mine was becoming until i changed it ;-;
I can’t even remove mine like that as I have an infection and it really hurts I can’t hold the top of my stud.
I’m trying this right now but i dont have tweezers.. can i use something else instead?
hi! i recommend anything thin that you feel confident you can use to safely secure the jewelry while you pull it out. thin scissors might work, especially the tiny ones u use for eyebrow trimming! but don’t hold too tight because it might chip the jewelry, or too lose that u cut yourself. i really recommend getting it removed by a different, professional piercer-that is the safest option! the last idea i have is to try to secure/hold it by using your fingers instead of tweezers
And if i hold it can i just pull it out? Instead of holding it and using tweezers.
For me the inside one ..that is the screw from below has got bent it seems...can u help me
O my gosh thank you so much... I was having such a hard time removing g my stud as I thought it was screw type... Itried out or method and it came out so easy ... thank u so muchhh
