I just watched pen and teller, and while they were guessing the guys trick they mention tommy wonder. And wth,the trick is exactly the same, even the storyline is so similar.

No way. You can clearly see Tommy putting the ring on his finger. Ben was fantastic compared to Tommy. As Penn said, it was a polished act, and rightfully so. I only see one *douche-bag* who can't even spell it right.

I highly recommend everyone buy his Books of Wonder, if only to see the secret of this trick. Truly inspirational and a testament to Tommy's dedication and ingenuity!
Very well executed. If mr. Wonder did use 2 watches, as Felkiz kindly suggests, I did not see him make the 1st disappear. I caught the misdirection and the moment he could have used to vanish the watch, but I didn't actually see it happen, while mr. Wonder's hands were in full view during those moments. Very well executed!
I love having access to the book/video where the tricks have been sold, and watching people make guesses. The reason why is due to about half the guesses are the same, and the other half involve disrespectful people from both the spectator side, and the magician side.

The replacement of the watch was smooth. He's a little slower with the ring. Looked like he was having trouble. Look at his left hand when he distracts the audience while throwing the paper in the air.

He's wearing two watches. When he first removes his stuff, he doesn't really put them in the envelope. With quick hand movements, you can actually make out that he hides them in his pocket before tearing the envelope. While the audience is distracted he quickly puts on the ring he kept hidden in his hand the whole time. That wallet also has two sides and two hundred dollar bills hidden from each other.
okay so i THINK what happens is that he hes 2 identical watches. one he takes off for the story and pockets it just before putting it "in" the envelope allowing him to just reveal the 2nd watch; the ring is palmed until he throws the ripped pieces of the envelope to distract the audience while he slips it back on; and the wallet is either double sided or has a false section that covers up the money to make it seem like it's empty
At the : 50 mark, extremely quickly he takes the palmed watch and slips it into either his pocket or Into his jacket on the hemmed bottom where there's probably some sort of pouch. He does it extremely quickly and amazingly fast oh, and your attention is on the envelope on the other side of him to create the diversion. But if you pause it at :49 to 51 you can see him pretend to put the watch in the envelope but it's already been hidden by him on his left side somewhere. Update actually he doesn't Pawn The Watch he's holding it just with his left pinky and he makes an extremely quick move to the left side of his jacket
i cant believe ben seidmen was trying to fool pen & teller with tommy wonders routine lol and he didnt even do it as good as tommy wonder (not even close) why would he do that when the only difference i see is seidmen did stand-up for 5 minutes before doing the trick and only changed a couple small things about the routine , which in my opinion made seidmens more clunky and telegraphed.
