    hey guys i just came back to say that I had an interview with EY and i've watched this video and learned by heart everything the day before and mentioned them in my interview and my interviewer was very impressed! not even the employees know all this stuff about EY! long story short I got the job ! big thank you to the person who made the video !!

      @@zainabhussain9421 Hi there!! I got into IT. I would rather not say exactly which department. When it comes to online assessments I would say that I really didn't like this part cause often you cannot answer these type of questions in 1 minute. And i specifically found some of these questions online from forums just to solve and understand them and what i found out was quite frustrating! Firstly the tables with the data in these questions are not positioned correctly leading to a lot of confusion even when you do complete them in 10-15' minutes time. Secondly numerical reasoning assumes that you have basic understanding of financial calculations and can do in less than 1 minute. This means you have to find similar questions somewhere ! and practice!! practice a lot !! I heard from forums that you have to have at least Above average score in some areas to pass so do your best!! Go to the official website and do the practice tests as well as youtube and forums.. Good luck

      @@SarahSunni Hi there! They were Mostly Behavioural questions tell me about EY etc and then they ask a lot of experience in situation questions. Tell about a time where ...... *insert question here* It helps a lot to find 50-100 questions like that on google (there are many websites out there listing many questions) and just answering them in front of a mirror!! just practice what would you say, assess yourself, record yourself, see what you do like and what you dont like about your sayings and correct it before the interview. A thing that you may not know is that EY is really big about helping the community, they literally match Dollar to Dollar whatever you donate to a charity. Which means if you go about and donate 1000$ to Cancer research for example EY will donate another 1000$ and this will make a sum of 2000$ for your favorite charity. If you dont have a lot of experiences just mention hackathons or situations you were in a team and collaborated to achieve a result. Think about situations where your team member has a different opinion than you, what would you do? Things like that.. Good Luck

    I had my 2nd interview with EY this morning (I had the first one on campus). However I felt that something was lacking I really did try to point out all these amazing facts about the company but none of them really showed interest also they never asked me what I know about them. At some point I had to cut them and try to tell em what I know lol.
    The only question they mostly showed interest at was why tax and not audit (I was applying for tax).
    I felt that they know they are one of the best and they are a bit cocky at times. When I asked em about the vision 2020 for 50bil they were like "oh yes that" lol they didn't show much passion from my perspective.
    Once I'll get update I'll update
    * UPDATE*
    i went through 2 more interviews and 1 excel test. They told me that they will let me know if they will hire me or not but it's been over 1 month and they never called me. I called 3 times over that last month and they kept telling me we will let you know by the end of the week and they never called.
    im very dissapointed by the level of unprofessionalism

    • @TheBig4AccountingFirms
      @TheBig4AccountingFirms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, sadly enough many of the employees in the big 4 are cocky because the firms tell them that they are the best of the best in accounting. Unfortunately many of them take this to mean that they can be arrogant wherever they go including the client site. What level was the person you interviewed with?
      They probably didn't care too much about that vision $50 billion because I think they've abandoned it now.
      The interview question videos for each big 4 firm are meant to help people if they do receive specific questions about the firm they are interviewing with, but more likely than not people will receive mainly generic interview questions. However, we wanted to provide specific interview questions since so many people request them. Thanks for listening.

      @@TheBig4AccountingFirms hey thanks for the reply! I was interviewed by a tax senior and by their HR manager.

      @@itisthefear Can you tell me what kind of questions you received in the 2nd final interview? Is it about something related to technical questions or not? Do they focus on your cv to ask further questions or do they focus on some random situation-based questions to determine your attitude and actions to solve problems (to see whether or not you are suitable for EY) ? When is it? I have one tomorrow afternoon, and will update here after I have had mine!
      As far as I can tell before going in - there is the discussion-led part for 5 minutes with around 5 minutes of questions. Questions about motivation for working at EY in general, the chosen service line, career motivation, background (tell me about yourself etc.)
      So other than the first 5-minute discussion you prep for and the questions which will likely follow it, exactly what he says in the video

      Yes
      I found it quite difficult
      Starts with "tell me a little bit about yourself - 1 minute"
      Then pre-work presentation - 5 minutes
      Questions about career motivation, why EY, if you were presenting your presentation to someone with a very basic understanding how would you do it, why London (or your location)
      I think that's all of the important ones, if I remember anything else will edit my comment and hope it helps!
