    Dan, you are an example of quality over quantity- less than 30 videos and almost 10K subscribers- so awesome! Quick question how do you transfer filler into BD syringe? And how to you constitute 10% saline mix with filler for tear trough? Much appreciated!

      At the end of this video, I show you how to transfer it to the BD syringe! I'll make another on how to transfer to saline to the filler.
      Thanks for the encouragement!
      All the best.

    Dear Dr. Thank you for share, after all quadrant you injected, 0.2 cc of residue filler 1 cc, you transfer in BD syringe then you injected for cupid bow 0.05 cc? My mean is how you divide 0.2 cc filler with BD syringe? How much for each pilow?

    Hi do you know why when doing lip filler with a cannula sometimes when inserting with the entry point needle the plastic part fills with blood? Not all the time but on some occasions I’ve noticed. Am I in an artery ? Thanks x Great informative video as always 🙌🏼

    I need an appointment with you! So few plastic surgeons and aesthetic nurses know their craft in the way that you do; understanding the anatomy of the face, adjustments in needle type and depth, type of product, placement, technique--all of it! They just poke and fill! Seriously, it's so dangerous and disconcerting. I'm coming to Ottawa! :)

    Hello Dan, you said to make entry point 1 cm from the corner but in my case, there is a facial artery, I checked this with a vein finder, even without it is visible as my skin is very thin. That was approximate, isn't it, entry point should be further, 2cm? Thank you for sharing your precious knowledge.

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Most of the time the artery will be 1.5 cm away from the oral commissure. I always enter 1cm from the corner and never had an issue. Remember you are using a 25g cannula. it's extremely rare to cannulate through an artery with this size of a cannula.

I am a bit hesitant to use a dental block because sometimes its hard to tell pre/post treatment of asymmetry

      For the lips, I use a thin or medium viscosity filler. But surprisingly, you can use any HA filler with a bd syringe! Even the thickest product works well.
