How to Build Flat Lay Photography Styling Blocks!

One of the key props used in flat lay product photography and videos are styling blocks! We recently needed a bunch for a shoot so I figured out an easy way to build some in a variety of sizes. They needed to be smooth, paintable (so they can be reused), and have hard crisp edges. The final result turned out way better than expected so I thought you might find it useful as well! What type of spray paint did you use?

Hey I think it was Krylon paint and I did a few coats. It was just whatever was available at the local hardware store, nothing fancy. I did do a few coats and it required a lot more than I thought.
