I'm about to sleep....ha....I think people in North Carolina are sweet..if I'm still alive and have a lot money, I want to visit N.C. Have a great night😍
I was born in Hickory, 1950, displaced now in the UP, Mi. hope to get back that way soon. Still, a lot of my kin folks around there in Catawba and Lincoln County. Love to Hickory & the Martin Clan! Enjoyed the video, a lot of memories. 👍🕶
All I've been whispering throughout this whole video is wow. I always love visiting Hickory to go shopping. I'll definitely have to check out the places mentioned in the video. :)
I am building a house in Hickory and am excited. One thing I did notice about this video however, it doesn't indicate anything for people within the 20/21 to 30(ish) range or anything geared for that age group. It seemed to be geared towards older folks or small children.
I am 22 and I was born and raised in Hickory. Lol I always say there is nothing to do in Hickory but it honestly is more of a town for older folks and kids. Nothing wrong with that but it does get boring. I always joke with friends its nothing but old people in Hickory lol.
@@Hallahanify not many places to my knowledge. We don’t have big university’s in hickory just community colleges and stuff like that. Bars are usually filled with older people
Abe Goldman Sort of Asheville is bigger than hickory Asheville is a bigger city over here in hickory it’s easy not a lot a lot of people but still alot if you enjoy nice stores coll and fun places it is better
I’m a Hickory native living in Asheville and I have to say, if politics isn’t your thing then you won’t see a lot of that in Hickory as much as Asheville! Both great places to live but Hickory is a whole lot cheaper! Hickory is in the perfect place to get to different cities!
I'm moving to Hickory NC next week, looking forward to it 🙌
Same!
Im originally from Wilkes Co. and I love my roots. But I worked and lived in Catawba county and I just love the place. Miss it alot.
