How to LS Swap - Episode 5 - Installing the Transmission

Today I am continuing our ‪@SummitRacing‬ sponsored "How to LS Swap" series by showing you exactly how to put a transmission that didn't originally come in our car in. This guide will work with any older car with a front engine rear drive powertrain configuration. Also wanted to note that I swapped the 4100 stall converter for a 2800 stall converter for better drivability and transmission longevity.

I know I'm starting the series a little late, but you should really mention when putting the torque converter bolts in, you need a 1/18"-3/16" gap between the TC pads and flex plate. If the flex plate is touching the TC when it's all the way back it can't "flex". But if you have to big of a gap you risk pulling the TC out of the pump grooves inside the trans.
