i onwed one and its very great for city ride indeed, modified my exhaust and air filter for bettter fuel and acceleration. bit slow on low end torque , can pass most scoots and really fits for my lifestyle
Will the thin seat be a problem for long rides?? My only concern about this bike is that thin seat and the ground clearance.

@@joseantoniorivera9118 do you have any fuel pump sensor issue? mine shows "Low Fuel Level" at 150-160km, but tank still have petrol.

@@matthiashew2324 I have no issue whatsoever. The indicator light goes on when range goes to less than 100-120kms.
@@dedchannel6634 I get about 30-40kms a litre at mixed driving style with a bit of city traffic.
Riding with a pillion is okay when doing short distance ride but will definetly not recommend this bike for touring. Seat height is okay but a bit cramped in my opinion. I’m 5’7 btw.
Hey it says the ground clearance is 145mm instead of 170mm in every other website. What's up with that ?

The naked Gixxer 250 is also a great alternative. Not exactly a scrambler bike but can also offer the same riding comfort, power and not to mention at a price that won't break the bank.

@@zfair37 so strange hearing that the 400 would be considered a medium/big bike over there! In Canada the 300/400 class are considered the smallest bikes you can feasibly buy for the highways/main roads
@@Mrcool179 its all about economy, traffic jams here are bad, you dont need 400c to cruise at 10mph, smaller displacements is enough and gives you better mileage.

Im so inlove with this bike, my father started loving classic bikes too! Im gonna save up money and buy him this bike and ofc ill keep the other key so i could use it sometimes too 😂
Really contemplating on getting this as my first bike, quite practical and looks great. But the 401 seems like a better option if i plan to keep it long term, since express way legal so no limiting factor, well besides the price and gas consumption. Planning to use it for daily commute for the most part with some rare occasions of spirited fun runs out of town if ever. I do have a car for longer trips tho. Ano kaya mas sulit? Having a tough time deciding since no experience yet on a motorcycle besides riding angkas haha. Any advice?
Get some experience on lower cc's bud then work your way up.

Get the 401 next year if ever KTM decides to release an upgrade with the same specs of US, Aus, EU versions. My rule of thumb for newly released bikes is to wait atleast a year for any mechanical, electrical problems that comes up before you decide.
Any updates with your plan bro? I'm also planning to get me a bike. And I don't know if it's economic since I have a car to use. But looking at the events going on rn, mukhang yung pang gas is going to be more than enough for a monthly payment.

you are not allowed to go on an express way with a 200cc? By the way, in Germany you even can go on the "Autobahn" with a 125cc bike... this is where the madness begin. (Where I live I can max out top speed of my BMW 118D every day, for at least the next 40 miles without any speed limits). I wonder how you feel on a 125 cc bike (-:

For years now, i keep hearing that owning a ktm/husqvarna is a headache here, cause it tends to break down a lot, and support is bad. Is it still the same case in 2022?

They break often but parts are for order and it takes months
Saving up to either get the Svartpilen 200 or the XSR155 as a daily driver. Both are lookers and performers in their category.

@@TG-uk1oo got a Svart 401 instead. The svart 200 most likely feels the same except for the engine. Id recommend you visit the dealers and sit on both bikes. The svart's seat height is actually real high for a bike with its size. I'm 5'11 and I cant flatfoot the bike. Im sure you wont regret buying either of the 2. Both are reliable and stylish (the Svarts have more tech features though)
@@Drt0Kkdo Yo just want to ask how's the maintenance experience so far? heard it was pretty costly since we have limited availablity of parts/components in the country.
@@JeremiahMFlores Only major spending Ive done so far was the 2nd PMS at around 5k. Sabi sa groups it can be done sa ibang shops/branches for much less.
As for parts, not much personal experience yet pero sa nababasa ko sa groups, medyo matagal dumating ang replacement parts.
