      @@AngelaDesignsThings really they help a lot. I am just learning illustrator and am going through your pen tool course now. I didn't get an opportunity to go through it all this morning, but I will be going through a lot of them over the next week or two. I am pretty proficient and photoshop on iPad and Lightroom on iPad, but I need to learn illustrator

    I have a question, with your open path shapes (the petals), could you add color to them or do they need to be closed?

      A great question, you can add fill colors to open paths. The colors may shoot across the art board depending on the path but if it’s a shape with one open side the color stays contained and will not have a stroke on the open side. Basically, you can add fill colors to either depending on what look you want.
