There are a TON of really great hikes there. I'm happy to help answer any questions, or there are individual videos that would break them down even more. That said, there are honestly no bad hikes there, so whatever you end up choosing, you'll enjoy!

You'll be blown away when you do come and see the park for yourselves. As you can see, the scenery in this part of the province is incredible.

You have that right! We couldn't have been any happier with this park. So many good trails, and one seemed to be better than the next - which is hard to do! (I also want you to know, we are out filming our next series at the moment with bad wifi, so we won't be able to watch your stuff for the next several weeks. We'll catch up when we get back!)

Each hike was truly impressive. It was really quite hard making this list, lol

So many beautiful stops! We'll be moving to the other side of the island in the next handful of videos! The mountains aren't quite as dramatic, but the scenery is still beautiful!

Hello, do you need a car to go to the trails if you are camping on the park?

    Some rugged terrain

You have that right! The park is beautiful but representative of the island - rugged!

I’ve always wanted to see the fjords in Gros Morne, but maybe from a boat. I remember your video on the Tablelands and thought it was such a cool place to be just the next province over. Trout river pond is such an unassuming name; however, your enthusiasm, description and stunning views, really support your claim as the number l one spot on your list. Great video Josh, Newfoundland was lucky to have you and your channel visit 😊

Yes, we really didn't expect much from Trout River Pond. I think because of it's length people don't bother with it - but I hope after a video like this, people will put it on their list!

We didn’t start hiking until 2020 when everything was closed down. The lowest in your list is also so pretty and any walk with a Fall is pretty sweet!!!! There are levels to the Hiking game 😀. All great trails.

All great trails indeed! This part is great because it does offer hikes for people of all hiking levels. Most places only offer moderate / difficult trails - this one had lots of easy posts. (I also want you to know, we are out filming at the moment with bad wifi, so we won't be able to watch your stuff for the next several weeks. We'll catch up when we get back!)

I agree, the Trout River Pond trail was a surprise .. especially with the chairs at the end to sit and have a snack and take in the view. I would have put Tablelands 1st, then Green Gardens (the Full Loop) 2nd. Just my 2 cents. Trout River Pond 3rd. Tablelands is cool for it's unique feature but as a hike it's not much. Great summary of the Gros Morne trails.

Tablelands for sure is the most interesting history wise - but if you didn't know that going in, you may not appreciate it as much. Green gardens is spectacular. It was my fav trail the first time I had been to the park!

You should go back to Tablelands and do the off-trail loop. It's ~ 13k. It starts where the short marked trail ends, takes you all the way up the back of the valley, then on top to come back down near the parking lot.

Where can I find the length and difficulties for each trail please? I assume the trailheads are not too hard to find from the highway?

You can either check out our individual videos (just search for them on our TH-cam page) or you can check out Parks Canada website parks.canada.ca/pn-np/nl/grosmorne/activ/experiences/randonnee-hiking)

Excellent video bud, good list that shows some really impressive scenery. Where's your next planned road trip / holiday going to be? I've heard around Vancouver there's some really nice scenery but that might be too far being the other side of the country. All the best!

Isn't this place awesome! I have some other trips that are recorded that took place already and took me forever to edit - so I'll have some of that coming up. But to actually answer your questions, Akane and I leave on Saturday to a new province - Prince Edward Island. It's close to us, but I have never been there! So I am looking forward to capturing some great footage of that trip!
