Secret Santa Update: The single mother of 3 who was given a "blueberry" car

- For the past five years, we’ve been able to help surprise deserving people eastern Idaho with gifts from an anonymous Secret Santa.
Many times we’re asked for updates on the recipients so every Monday, from now until Christmas, we’ll be posting an interview with someone who received a Secret Santa gift in the past.
Nikkie Schwemmer was the first person to receive a car from Secret Santa back in 2018. She is a single mother of three adorable children and was using a borrowed car to get by.
Nikkie was stunned when we showed up with the car and her reaction was unforgettable. We checked in with Nikkie for an update on how she is doing. Watch the video above for the latest.
I know how she feels. I used to drive a 1993 mercury tracer. Now I have a 2003 ford explorer. At least I made it into this century! Best of luck to Mom, kids and "the blueberry"

In 2018 I finally own,d my dream car" a Mazda 3 sports. 💙 It ment the world to me, I saved every cent to get it" & as I was traveling down to Dalby to do an induction for Coles, a road Tek car, was in my lane not his own, & hit me almost head on".... To this day, I cannot believe I'm alive, but my beautiful car that I worked so hard to get, was gone" I'm still recovering from that accident" but everyday I miss my car. ☹️😢 It made me feel so happy for her & those little ones that finally they had there dream car" thankyou for sharing this video 💜 many blessings to everyone 🙏😇🌹
I pretty much had the same thing happen to me bought my dream truck had someone smash into me thank god when I got my insurance( this was before the accident )they asked me if I wanted appreciation on my insurance I asked what is that and they told me and was told u will have to pay a little more money per month but if something happens u get a new truck glad I said yes because almost 3 years after buying it someone smashed into me and I got a new truck glad I paid that extra money because I would be in your situation so if u don't have appreciation insurance go ask and get it u will be glad u did
IF the secret Santa saw the video of her kids seeing the car, the smile on her daughters face was well worth the cost of the car
I'm 60 never owned a new car. Now I have no heat. So happy Santa can help some needy people. Please continue to bless those in need.

its crazy tho ,,coincident" with the color...I though the idaho news knew aout the color issue! Finding out, it was a random choice, and as i see they always give pretty much only white SUv...whoo! God this was so much better for the kids, real miracle !

I remember watching this video of Nate presenting Nikki with her “blueberry car” from SECRET 🎅🏼 Nikkie was genuinely surprised, and I could see how awestruck and grateful she was! Her three kids were sooo excited, they seemed not so sure at first, but realized this was their “blueberry car” too! No need to

My car just turned over to 200,000 miles. Not bad for a Ford Taurus. Lots of rattles and once in a while parts going out, but it still runs!! I had a F-150 truck, but it was stolen and wrecked in a police chase. I know how she feels with the Blueberry, I loved my truck. Such a good feeling to see the joy on her and her children’s faces! One of my favorite Secret Santa stories!

Cuteness Overloaded
I live in boise and i wish something like this would happen for my wife she works so hard and is our sole provider due to me having muscular dystrophy, a pituitary tunor, hidranitis supprativa, and aspergers i cant work. She does so much for us and never even hesitates if my medications cut more into our budget she would rather go without than have me do that. And our children appreciate what they have but man would it be amazing to have santa show up and brighten their imaginations and year. Obviously i know it would never happen but thank yoy for letting me vent that. She deserves recognition for her loving caring and giving nature.
