Wow your coffee looks gorgeous! I have to plants under my banana trees for some shade, hoping to get beans soon. Creating microclimates definitely helps with the frost. The area of my garden where I have my tropical plants doesn’t frost up like the rest of the yard due to how dense I planted the tropical plants.

I've found that a dense planting helps build a better microclimate.

No white sapote???
it got root rot the first year,,, I do plan on getting another this spring
