Freeze, cannons, stomach, tusks, body, that's how I fight it. Granted I have a fully upgraded Sun Scourge and Death Seekers Shadow, but it's how I farm them
>start game on hardest >come to this fight >get fucking obliterated 17 times before finally camping in a spot they cant reach to cheese the fight this theme scares me more than most now.
I defeated this fight on hard mode. My second attempt at this sucked. All I remember is running, looked behind me and saw this huge flying boulder instantly crushing me lmao
I love the direction they took with this game's music. Feels like they took the tribal thematics and blended them with Portal 2's soundtrack, it's brilliant.
I love that, I’m gonna use it from now on! But yeah, where ‘Colossal’ from HZD’s ost captured the frantic struggle against the fast-moving Thunderjaw and Stormbird, this perfectly captures the looming dread of the slow but hulking and hard-hitting Tremmortusk and Shellsnapper.
@@97Multiphantom Don't forget the Slaughterspine, however defeating that machine is a piece of cake compared to the shellsnapper. Still got Nam flashbacks from having to fight those fuckers.
This music is so fantastic, but it holds an extra special place in my heart because I fought my first Tremortusk with Kotallo. That entire side quest made him my favorite side character in the game. So this song has many feelings and emotions wrapped up in it!
I can’t decide if I like this music or the slaughterspine one better. I just LOVE the part where the slaughterspine is charging up the music builds up with it. It’s so good. But the beat in this one is literally so good ahh
I could feel your ahh moan. Hopefully, you are a hot chick ,like for example Dutch model that provided her face to Aloy. Otherwise, I would need to re-think my sexual preferences. 😄😄😄
I think it was the same in HZD with Collosal: for regular encounters like Sawtooth plays standard version, but when you fight Thunderjaw or Stormbird plays slightly altered, more "aggressive" version.
Huh. It's theme is unique for it. Still one of the most dangerous enemies I've faced... I can handle nearly all of its attacks except for the salvo cannons which tend to fire at the worst times possible.
@email forgames2563 Easy? Well, happy for you then. Handicap yourself by fighting it with just Spear. With some luck, you shall discover a new definition of pain and suffering. 😎 Which I am sure would actually be quite fun to you. :-)
it's the same as the slaughterspine theme unfortunately other than the charge up section. can't believe the slitherfang got a unique theme but these two didn't
1:45 is for me the best part. You juss know this fight with this beast is gonna be collosal Combining tribal drums with techno like setup is just boutiful
One minute you're enjoying the music and thinking the Tusk isn't looking at you as it moves. The next thing you know a damn missile blows you off your stance. And another one. And a other one.
Tremortusk shoot 4 in a row or at the same time, but at least for me, the maximum shots are 4, when i learned this, is a lot easier to evade those fucking bombs hahaha.
I've been playing for about, idk, maybe 200 hours now, I take on Slaughterspines and Thunderjaws with ease on very hard difficulty But this thing It scares me TwT I have a pretty solid strategy, which works well for the one time I'm actually gonna fight it for the story mission, but this strategy doesn't work for every Tremortusk so I never actually fought them outside of the mission. Would rather take on two Slaughterspines at once xD
I haven't played in a few months but I would always try to snipe them from a distance to start with. Their tusks are hard to hit but they take a lot of damage when hit which you probably want to do because a lot of late game upgrades needs a lot of those tusks. After the tusks, taking out the flame sac is pretty ideal which does another good amount of damage to it. Freezing also helps a lot. I usually try to keep my distance from them. The plasma cannons on its back are also a weak point that you can hit as well, I believe. The most dangerous part is probably those Salvo Cannons and they're not easily disabled. I believe they fire in sets so they need to cool down after attacking you so many times and they don't really have a blind spot, either.
"Not fast" my ass. You must never have had one if them charge you from across the site when you got too much distance. Those things can haul ass when they want
Was it this one? th-cam.com/video/sy8yyVfz3TQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MistaKing This is the one that usually plays for me but i've also had another one play which i think was a audio track glitch.
I love that when ever you fight a tremortusk in the wild or go near it at all this music plays because these guys are some tough beasts
I believe “Brick shithouse” is the apt term for these things.
Freeze, cannons, stomach, tusks, body, that's how I fight it. Granted I have a fully upgraded Sun Scourge and Death Seekers Shadow, but it's how I farm them
I love the combat music in this game more the the first one. It’s a lot more theatrical which is more fitting.
Same
Yeah, they really leaned into the futuristic aspect of the world a lot more, it worked really well.
I agree! While I loved the music in the first one, THIS one actually makes me want to listen to it outside of the game!
Agree. But i prefer the HZD FireClaw theme than HFW, its more intimidating
>start game on hardest
>come to this fight

this theme scares me more than most now.

Took me 7 attempts
Been in love with this track since I first heard it in the gameplay reveal several months back. Goes so hard
I love the direction they took with this game's music. Feels like they took the tribal thematics and blended them with Portal 2's soundtrack, it's brilliant.
The other tracks slap.
This one punches.
It's a real heavy hitter for sure. 😎

You could say this one causes a tremor
I’d have said stomped but the image of one of those cartoon musical notes hopping off the page and bopping someone is even better, so carry on.

i thought they’re the same
They're the same song?
They're the exact same, the only difference is the charge up for the Slaughterspine.
@@LeeEverett1 Ah, never noticed that in game. Thanks for clarifying.
I love all the soundtracks in HFW, but this one is on a whole other level! Couldn’t of picked a better machine🤙🏽
What about Slaughterspine?
Epic drums and synth love it
Fighting any of the large machines even in the wilds is a damn boss bottle.
And the music makes each encounter so awesome
Hits harder than those Salvo Cannons.
Those little bastards, always ready to ruin my clean long-range disassembly of this chonky mammothy boi.
Thunderjaw To Tremortusk: YOU'RE NOT BETTER THAN ME TUSK
Tremortusk To Thunderjaw: WHATEVER YOU SAY FOOL
Out of corner comes Slaughterspine
1:34 and 1:55 are the best parts yall tripping. Those parts give you mad goosebumps. I can hear aloy saying "Time to finish this!!"
I so far only fought it once but now listening to this I feel nostalgia for that fight
Couldn’t have said it better myself
One of the best themes BY FAR
1:45 onwards I remember hearing it when playing and getting chills! It matches the game play perfectly and it’s also a head bopper!
Chasing Rebel's Tremortusk with Kotallo and hearing that part of the song is too exciting to your ears while explosions has in background XD.
Interesting how it’s pretty similar to the Slaughterspine theme, though one of the big differences is the buildup as ‘spine charges up
The Slaughterspine's theme is basically a remix of this one.
But it's a good remix, so we don't complain :P
Slaughterspine is more dangerous than tremortusk
@@AurelionSass
Perhaps this 1 is a downmix of Slaughter theme?🤣🤣🤣
The charge up theme is so badass

Those cannons are the bane of my existence 😭
@email forgames2563 Yeah. Since I posted this, I've managed to slightly master it.
Also, I was playing on Hard Mode.
@email forgames2563

Replay 0:50-1:11 repeatedly and you'll love this theme a lot! 😍😍😍

1:34 personally to 2:22
I love how some machines has their own themes. Makes fight feel More epic than In Zero Dawn
They did in Zero Dawn too
the thunderjaw had its own theme
sometimes I fight tremor tusks just for the music because it’s so good 😩 3:10 is my favorite omfg beat drop 😻😻😻
Horizon Forbidden West is amazing, the Tremortusk fight was so much fun, the scale of the machine was epic 👏👏👏
This theme is so badass!!!
Epic fight
Been looking for this everywhere. Thanks so much!!
FINALLY, THANK YOU SO MUCH
I absolutely love horizon zero dawn and This theme

It's the same theme of the Slaughterspine
Tremortusks aren't very fast, but wow! They take a lot of damage and can dish out 20x as much.
Those damn cannons on its hips are almost impossible to dodge
"Not fast" my ass. You must never have had one if them charge you from across the site when you got too much distance. Those things can haul ass when they want
1:55 🔥
THANK YOU!!! YOU'RE THE BEST
This song is bitchin ong
Wow, Finally, tanks you so mucho
This theme was made by Oleksa Lozowchuk.
2:47
2:55 best part
One part of it kinda sounds like the new evil theme from spiderman 2
It seems much like Slaughterspine theme.
How are they different?
Hmm...well I guess the Spine ultimate attack build up is missing. 🤣
ultra hard moda is for the warriors
I noticed that the Apex tremortusk theme is different.
Was it this one?
