Despite no combat, this was a VERY strong episode, one of the best of Joe performances.
My favorite Joe-moment is when Joe slammed the table so hard (I think during campaign 1 or A&A), that Mathew's headphone AUX popped out..

I've only just found the GCN as I can't find many good Pathfinder 2e podcasts. My hat goes off to the GM. In all my roleplaying 30+ years I've never seen as well roleplayed an NPC as little Jimmy.

Retro caps should totaly be a thing. Since it can be hard to reel forward and hand one out during many of the moments that naturally produced them.

I don't think anything else makes me laugh quite as much as GCN shows, just caught up on blood of the wild and started back into legacy of the ancients and they are all straight bangers!
I'm re listening to campaign one and I'm on ep 127 so I'm suuuuper close to Ranger Things 2 and honestly from 125-135 is some of the best story telling/role play I've ever experienced and definitely some of yall's best work in my opinion! Super excited for this campaign to get that deep!!

Amazing episode. However, unless something was specially arranged with the GM. Dark Fields Kitsunes, don't have a humanoid form. They are only hybrids (their true form) and fox shape. In any case, great cliffy!

Great episode. I guess its worthless to mention it also had near zero PF2e mechanics involved, which would support my observation the group is sick, but the rules are shit! What I will say, then, to your credit, is Ive seen 100 episodes of Giant Slayer, most of Delta Green, all of AnA, most of Strange Aeons, and maybe 100 odd episodes of Time for Chaos and Raiders of the Lost Continent ... so despite my criticisms and distaste for PF2e, Ive been a long time fan of your games. Unanimously the worst bits are the combats, which time to time produce gems. Thankfully, this campaigns combats have been better, but I doubt will be served much by higher lvls. Which is ironic since you'd expect things to be more engaging at higher power lvls.
Anyway, great job GCP crew. For shining through and entertaining regardless of the setting or system! 🎉
Respectfully disagree--as someone who enjoys 2e, I love having a well produced, high quality podcast in the system. But that's the great thing about GCN--plenty of other shows for those who don't like a particular system.

@@EliasDKehr i want to add, after giving it thought ... I'm too hard on Paizo. If I take my bias out of the equation, PF provides a lot of good things. Like their AP's. I cant be fair and bury the whole house when some of its rooms held some of my favorite moments.

As to system suggestions, its kinda tough, tbh. I havent played too many that fit the bill, here. PF1, maybe Worlds Without Number, a version of Warhammer Fantasy. I think the best games, however, are simply heavily homebrewed 3.x type games. I have a game ive began playtesting, but im not interested in sharing it atm. Ive been working on that since I cant stand most offerings in the modern market. Ive played so many games that no single one offers what I require for a serious long term campaign. I realize it makes it foolish for me to trash another system without having an immediate solution, Which lended to my appology above. I still hate PF2e, but I wont let it pollute my sensibilities with resentment anymore.
If people enjoy the game, thats good. If I have a better solution, thats great. Since I dont atm, then whats best is to focus on the good and not the evil.
Tl;dr dont mind me, just doing some soul searching. Cheers.
