Hey, I've gotten to this folder and I keep placing it in there and relaunching my game but nothing happens; the addons folder doesn't seem to be anywhere in site where the rest of these files are in the gw2 folder. should I be looking to do something about it or
my game crashes when i press the "play" button or double click on my character, what can it be? (I've already deleted the addons folder and the d3d11.dll file and downloaded it again)
Glad I could help :) This is Mistlock Sanctuary, it's like a small hub stylized with particular theme that has access to most basic stuff you may need on daily basis. There are different hubs, this one is Fractal focused so you also have Fractal portal in there, but basically all the hubs have access to your crafting and banks and it's a matter of which one you like more. I like this one cause I play Fractals a bunch and it's small meaning everything is close. Mistlock Sanctuary requires a pass that you need to buy for gems, sometimes it's on a discount and you can also get a limited version of it from some black lion present. That's how I got mine, but got so used to that place that I bought the full pass when I could. ;) It's not necessary to have this thing, but it's a handy feature cause you can place it in a shared slot and all your characters have a teleport to place for your basic needs and by using the item again you get teleported back to the exact place you have been. If you want to learn more just go to gw2 wiki and search for Lounge.
Yes sir, just like I mentioned in the video it should be your installation directory. If you're not sure you're in the correct place you can either right click GW2 shortcut you have, properties and open file location OR just search manually and check what directories and files I showed in the video to have an idea how your installation directory should look like.
Make sure you have the dll in the correct directory before launching, it has to be the same directory where Gw2-64.exe is. Also try ALT + SHIFT + T in game, it's a default keybind for showing ArcDPS - it may be working but hidden for whatever reason. One thing you can also try is deleting d3d11.dll and addons folder, import the dll again and launch the game. AFAIK this should wipe ArcDPS entirely from your game and install it again.
