Have you ever wondered how to build a Flipper for Battlebots? The Sub Zero team takes us inside their robot to show us how a pneumatic system works, and how to translate stored gas energy into a powerful flipping machine! They show us every part and piece that goes into making one of Battlebots most powerful pneumatic flippers to date. While others like Hydra and BLIP have moved away from stored gas, Sub Zero has doubled down into pressurized air to power their weapon system. Come learn how to create a pneumatic system from the masters!

Great video! It was so cool to see how well designed 30 Below is, I especially love how the whole drive system can come out as one piece! Repairability and serviceability are something I'm trying hard to work on on my own robots, so seeing that was some great inspiration!
Logan and his dad are a blast. Got to meet them in person in the pits of the most recent CROK event a few weeks back, and just shoot the breeze about Battlebots and classic robot combat.
Color me jealous! Though I've been able to email directly, so that's still neat. One day I'd love to see 'em at a live event though. Hoping Season 8 is it!
Oh 30 Below runs a brit-flipper style setup for their weapon, very cool.
It's not a true britflipper (a britflipper needs a britwedge) but the uncoupled punch ram is a design that clearly can have potential in an American style spatula flipper.

I met Logan and Brady a couple decades ago when they were battling with Steel Reign. Two of the best guys I've ever known. Also, can confirm, Logan loves smelling his own farts 😂. Can't wait to see what SubZero has in store!

SubZero is so friggin cool, I really hope they come back for another season, the world feels ready for a flipper resurgance, especially a pneumatic one - Lucky, Banshee, SubZero, Bravado (👀maybe), Battlebots needs more flippers in general, it's such an under utilised weapon type

EDIT: AW TINY SUBZEROS! I knew about 30 Below, but the others are super teeny and precious! I could take them all home and hold them! Tbh, I love the black version and am low-key curious how it would look if the snowy paint job was done in red. xD
subzero needs to come back. He was missed. The other flipperbots are too ground game reliant. I miss the smash n flip strategy of subzero.
I missed him so bad! While it was neat to see the team and Spitfire with Lock-Jaw last season, it wasn't the same as seeing the icy man in action.
Plus I feel like BB in general is lacking in anything non-spinner nowadays, though at the same time, flippers are being robbed of their own way of KOing competition with the lack of OOTAs. :/

Is anyone experienced with 3d printing im having a very big issues and I don’t have any idea how to fix it
Not overly experienced but willing to try and help!
Level your bed, dry your filament, double check your slicer settings and make sure your designs don't have excessive overhangs.
@sliders15 it keeps saying there is something in the air on my model and I don’t know what is so it can’t get 3d printed
@@The_gamers192 Looks like the model you're trying to print has some random extra bit somewhere that gets sliced into something not printable.
Make sure in your CAD program you're only exporting the data you need and not have some left-over stuff from a wrong boolean operation or something.
If you downloaded a STL from somewhere see in the comments if people are having similar issues or maybe contact the creator.
I hope subzero will be back for world championship 8. Subzero is better than banshee
You sure, because Banshee looked pretty durable this year and went 4-0 in their Proving Ground fights. They just need to fix their driving and it's a good competitor.
