hey Proko, the little humourous moments in your videos lately (benedril cumberbund, illuminati flash, spanking skelly) really improve the quality of your videos, keep it up!
this is one of the best lessons yet. So much polish at each stage, such clarity in the drawings and the explanation, using the 3d to show clarifying views and motions and showing multiple angles for 3d understanding, amazing work! thank you so much!
Thanks for these videos Stan - I thought I had a decent understanding of anatomy, but breaking it down into individual sections like this reveals soo many key details I've missed!
Amazing video Proko! So far in my early art career, I've learned so much in such a short time thanks to your videos, especially anatomy! you're a great teacher. I know anatomy is your specialty, but would you ever consider doing a video on the nature of machinery and mechanics? Id love to see videos on the geometry of armor as well.
You're a god send Proko Today I was trying to learn more about the deltoid and biceps , and I said to msyelf "maybe Proko has something uploaded" and BAM, you recently upload things I need :D
I have found yr videos by try & error in the internet. Tried many or almost many training videos. Then came acros yrs.The way u explain things and sense of humor u hve, are what makes ur work uniq, lovly and not boring (did not find proper word for not boring in english 😁)
I knew the Illuminati were behind this! They're behind it all, why wouldn't they be behind Proko-- I mean, his drawing lessons! Srsly tho, thanks Stan. I struggle quite a bit with the deltoids, especially the insertion points of the medial head. This is going to be so helpful.
Proko, you are awesome! This video really helped me understand the deltoid, witch is very difficult for me to understand the posterior head, allong with the trapezius, the spine of the scapula and all those tricky bastards! When I have enough money I'll buy your premium courses. But that may take a while haha Best of luck to you
Always a rough area for me. One thing I'm wondering about: Do you intentionally/always draw the acromion process horizontally? I'm asking because in skeletons I notice it's at an incline coming upwards to meet the clavicle. Thanks!
Yeah, the other bones lock in with the pelvis. The pelvis is the anchor of the other bones in the app. We're looking into adding an option to have the pelvis be free rotating.
Hello, Proko, love your videos! I wanted to ask if you could make a video on perspective and how it works and how to know if I'm using its principle correctly.
He has a few videos on perspective here: www.proko.com/illusion-of-depth-perspective-details-overlapping-forms/ : ) There is a much more in depth series in the works but it will probably be a while before it comes out.
For some reason, the great comics artist Gil Kane always made his delts too small/short, and his biceps ridiculousll long and stretched out. He really knew his anatomy, but chose to distort it in ways that were often not appealing visually.
To get the most out of the Anatomy Course you may want to check out the Figure Course first here: www.proko.com/library/ After you watch that you'll be ready to start the Anatomy Course. These videos are really effective at helping people become much better artists because they are formatted like fun art school lessons that, once you watch and do the assignments in order, you'll have a much greater understanding for the figure and how to draw it.

What’s with the Illuminati pyramid flashing at 5:46 right when Stan says “upside down pyramid”? That symbol is not an upside down pyramid. Weird.

Always a rough area for me. One thing I'm wondering about: Do you intentionally/always draw the acromion process horizontally? I'm asking because in skeletons I notice it's at an incline coming upwards to meet the clavicle. Thanks!
Dude thank u
Does anyone know where we can find the reference photos he was supposed to put in the description? :(
They're on this video's page on proko.com: www.proko.com/how-to-draw-deltoids-anatomy-for-artists/
Yeah I figured it out after writing the comment ahah thank you :)
Based proko
sweet! i have the most problem figuring out the forms of the delts
Bart Sears also did fantastic muscle
In almost every photo I look, the deltoid length seems like a third of the arm, not half. What am I missing?
it’s about half way down the humerus not the entire arm.
i've been watching this video and i noticed a alluminati
hey stan we're did you get that jacket that you we're wearing when you was with jazza in San diego
I don't see the link to the homework images. Help?
OMG!!! ILLUMINATI EYE @ 5:46
ILLUMINATTI CONFIRMED hahaha
Proko, about your skelly app, when i want to move the pelvis only, all the body moves. Is this normal?
Yeah, the other bones lock in with the pelvis. The pelvis is the anchor of the other bones in the app. We're looking into adding an option to have the pelvis be free rotating.
Sean Ramsey
thanks for the answer!
i think of deltois as strawberries, it helps a lot!

But other than that your videos are great!
For some reason, the great comics artist Gil Kane always made his delts too small/short, and his biceps ridiculousll long and stretched out. He really knew his anatomy, but chose to distort it in ways that were often not appealing visually.
