    Wish you had used non pressure baskets to pull shots also :/

      all grinders have different outcomes so pressure or not we will have our coffee!

    not a fair comparison, he makes so many mistakes. Gaggia espresso shot is too fast, too hot because not enough time between milk frothing and espresso shot, no crema etc, etc, etc...

    Have to run some water out of the classic after steaming or your water will be way too hot to brew. Had that machine for a long time. It was a champ.

      I'm super surprised they did not show this step here; it's a single boiler 101 lesson :) refill the boiler after steaming!

    Can you get replacement parts for the Solis

    You didn't purge the group-head of steamed water before you pulled shot, and after clearing steam wand of steam to cooler water

    Hello. Thank you for your guidance
    I am looking for the best option under 1000 dollars. The best options I saw were:
    gaggia classic pro
    Bezzera new hobby
    Breville Bambino Plus
    rancilio silvia
    Most of the people I asked said Bezzera or gaggia
    What is your opinion?

    Why compare to Gaggia when you guys don't even carry it? And pressurized basket? Where is Gail?

    Thank you for your great video! I am from Switzerland (where comes from the Solis brand) and was wondering how much you pay for that machine in the U.S.?

    I had the Gaggia for a week. Upgraded from the Bambino Plus. I put the Mr. Shades 9 bar spring in the Gaggia. It made wonderful espresso and had great milk steaming. The temperature surfing and clearance from the group head were quirky but doable. The deal breaker was the steam pressure for back to back shots…just needed something more so I upgraded to a Quick Mill Pathfinder. While I LOVE the QM….Surprisingly, I miss the quirky Gaggia! The clearance issues, lack of mobility and poor pressure from the steam (for back to back shots), etc., were sort of charming!

    When a boiler is made of aluminum, can scale still be cleaned with citric acid or does that attack the aluminum?

    • @elboyo2
      @elboyo2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use Citric, just dont let it sit over night or anything

    • @Paolo1064
      @Paolo1064 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The body is made of aluminum but the water flow in a stainless steel tube inside the aluminum. So no problem with descale function ......

    • @JohnClulow
      @JohnClulow 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Paolo1064 Thank you, Paolo. That arrangement makes sense given the high thermal conductivity of aluminum and chemical resistance of stainless steel (low thermal conductivity).

    Does the Perfetta have a pod-shaped group head? My old SL90 did. But, even with that, ESE pods never tasted that good. How does the Perfetta do with ESE pods?

    Hey. I’m looking for a espresso machine but mostly I’m going to be using it for Americanos. What would be a great entry level machine be in your opinion. I’m thanking the dedicate of the gaggia pro. Thanks.

    Curious, you said the Solis could have it tempature increased. What was the temperature setting you brewed that expresso with?

    I had the Solis for a week before I returned it and bought the Gaggia. World of difference. The Gaggia is a machine and the Solis is an appliance that feels cheap. I love the ability to mod the Gaggia.. so much fun.

    Classic espresso machine vs expensive borged machine with no soul... Sadly you only sell the expensive soulless one...
