Superb Dioramas in 1/72 Scale. Pt.2 of Dioramica Report 2022

- The Dioramica exhibition takes place every three years. With the Dioramica taking place on 28 and 29 May 2022, the Dioramica permanent exhibition was also opened in the brand new rooms at Heilbad Heiligenstadt (see part 1 of the Dioramica report!).
The pictures in the second part of the Dioramica report were taken by Andreas Gidom and Matthias Hilberg, who were on site at Heilbad Heiligenstadt on Saturday and Sunday to photograph the dioramas of the guest exhibitors.
And the guest exhibitors also showed world-class historical diorama construction in 1/72 scale.

Die Dioramica-Ausstellung findet alle drei Jahre statt. Mit der am 28. und 29. Mai 2022 stattfindenden Dioramica wurde zugleich auch die Dioramica Dauerausstellung in den brandneuen Räumen im Heilbad Heiligenstadt eröffnet (s.Teil 1 des Dioramica-Berichts!).
Die Bilder im zweiten Teil des Dioramica-Reports stammen von Andreas Gidom umd Matthias Hilberg, die am Samstag und Sonntag vor Ort im Heilbad Heiligenstadt waren, um die Dioramen der Gastaussteller zu fotografieren.
Und auch die Gastaussteller zeigten historischen Dioramenbau im Maßstab 1/72 auf Weltniveau.

1/72 is the best scale to make this dioramas. Very well made.

ln 1/35 scale these diorama's would be amazing . ln such a small scale they are incredible and one can only marvel at the artistic skills and patience of those that created them . Hats off to them . Excellent work .

Hat's off to the guys/gals who did these. Not my scale but the detail they put in is awe inspiring. Nice thing about 72nd is that you can tell a much larger story than you can with 35th. Well done.

Hi Neil,
actually, I've been trying to publish all topics and videos that make sense for publication in English (e.g. trade fair reports, show pictures and kit reviews, TH-cam shorts) with English descriptions for a long time.
Only the category Livestream, where a lot is said, joked about and discussed about model building, takes place in my native language German. The wit, pace, quick wit and timing would simply be lost for me and my comrades-in-arms if we were to deliver all this in a foreign language. And in such situations, you simply feel particularly comfortable in your mother tongue.
But the channel deliberately offers a lot of internationally oriented content.
So in the future, more interviews with well-known modellers in English will also be placed on this channel alongside the content already available in English.
After all, we modellers cannot be separated by language barriers and politics. That's clear to me and that's what I'm committed to.

Mein erster Gedanke bei 9:44: Ooch, schon vorbei? 1A mit Sahne. Super bearbeitet und geschnitten.
Das Diorama mit den 15000 Figuren ist nicht dabei. Ich war schwer beeindruckt, nachdem ich mich mit der Anzahl krass verschätzt hatte. Ich tippte auf eine vierstellige Anzahl.. Ich zog meinen virtuellen Hut vor dem Erbauer.
I like 54mm, 1/32nd scale but the makers don't make as big of a variety of regiments.
