I was a benchmade fan from way back when I've recently bought a infidel mini infidel and a Stryker auto. I did research on Microtech and fell in love with the Dirac long story short I received my Dirac D/E stonewash standard 225-10 yesterday and know I'm thinking about getting the Dirac Delta.

Haha Going to do a video comparing Benchmade and Microtech build quality /value once I spend more time with both. Obviously Benchmade is overpriced! I traded a new Spyderco Military Jade G10 DLC M4 (bought on original drop ) for NIB Autocrat. So far so good!
Ya knives get pretty addictive. I’ve bought a bunch over the last year. Just got a couple Medford’s I’m pretty excited about. I’ll check out your channel and give you a sub. Thanks for watching
Ya Microtech has a nice blue. My LUDT is blue. My brothers gym logo is blue and is pretty close to the Microtech blue so he tries to get them in blue when he can.
Great video. Really thinking about purchasing the Ultratech. After watching your videos on it I'm convinced. I just recently purchased a Protech Godfather, so I will hold off from now but definitely gonna purchase the Ultratech in November. Thanks again.
I carry the Dirac for self defense an edc knife and a boot knife I think double edge folders are personally better for edc but I can understand why you’d wanna use it

Here’s the thing that I don’t understand, anytime I see a UTX 85, my first impression is too small, I don’t like it, it never gets a second look, or any attention from me whatsoever. But now I look at the Dirac, which is smaller than a UTX 85 and I’m obsessed. I need a Dirac so bad. Is it just because of the ergonomics or is it that front mounted switch???
@@joefuentez7232 Did you find the firing action on the Dirac Delta a little slower or less crisp than the Dirac, due to bigger and heavier blade? Which one did you like better?
The switch on the Dirac is much easier to use. All the other Microtech OTF switches hurt my thumb. They seem like design flaws. I bought mine black on black with one side fully serrated. Do not buy online Microtech OTFs until you've held them in your hands and know what your preferences are.
Just got this knife in the mail today production date 3/2021.Way to small and the tip is just to fine. The tip will definitely bend or break if used to hard. Trading a friend of mine for a Ultratech tactical Tanto.
@Jimmy Plumber I recently purchased the Dirac Delta bad ass knife! But I still find myself carrying my ultratratech alot more. I prefer the size of the ultratratech for edc.

Dirac is very close to the utx-85 and the Dirac Delta is close to the ultra tech. I’m hoping they make a Dirac mini that is the size of the utx-70

I have an ultratech coming this week, the tanto model, I’m between spear ultratech or this, I like the delta Dirac but I tend to carry smaller knives

I think the knife feels better in hand and the switch is easier to use on the Dirac

@@vic_0315 I actually like the delta more. So much so that I sent the Dirac back and bought a Hera instead.

Ya the Dirac is a much better feel. The scarab is nice because it’s so big it doesn’t dig in.

Ya it’s more the size of the utx 85.
I don't think anybody is using a d/e dagger style blade for hard use. More of just a stab blade. Designed specifically for self defense.
I still like the size of the ultratratech better imo.
Id like a Dirac for edc but ya the ultra tech is more work and edc.

The Dirac is too small and quite expensive for the size it is,go with the Delta, well worth it and perfect for EDC.
