Always love Kurt's chords movements.
He's from Philly, but yeah that's all him. Nobody else does that.
I heard that good improvisation is when the listener can anticipate 50% of the time the next note or the next chord (well, maybe a few notes in the chord); the other 50% is a surprise. With Kurt it's about 75% that I'm surprised.....and I love it.
