All the gels do this ..coz with time gels become thicker co of loss water ..so when u add water they come bak to their lighter consistency ..better is to add distilled water

This will happen with "ANY" Gel ! As gels are created with a ingredient called a Polymer, as it has the nature of absorbing 1000s of times it's weight. Hence, when extra water is added it again turns into gel. In order to reverse it..just add salt or vinegar !

This same happened with my aloevera gel lol😭😂i was so pissed. I was trying to make sunblock and mixed rose water in aloevera gel. When i combined all the ingredients together, it separated oils and water. Which made its consistency like curdled milk💔😭.
