love the term 'flea bite'.. (sounds so much better than chip!) Love the pedestal pieces.. can't wait to see them finished..

I like that terminology too! Chip makes it sound like someone damaged it. Flea bite lets you know it was used for its purpose! And I can't wait until they are made into pincushions too!

When you use glass pieces w lids for pincushions, what do you do with the lids?

I try to always make the pincushions so that the lids can fit back on top. That way, if someone wants to lid it they can. If the dish/vessel is deep enough, sometimes you can even put the lid on it with pins in the pincushion.
