i used to walk through that cemetary to goto mt calvary cemetary and it felt like i was being watched. But no one was around me. I was by myself. No one else was walking. But then again i was singing i wish i was in dixie.
I believe it's called Union because that's where they moved the Presbyterian and Methodist cemeteries that used to be downtown, as well as the graves of the early settlers. It was named in 1853 prior to the Civil War. Interesting story though!
