14:24 has long as the kid doesnt come in and cause locker-room loyalty and chemistry issues i am good with it. It is always nice to have bodies that can play.
Drumm quick to defend those local kids lol truth is Gentry might be 3 more years if he keeps on his current trajectory… that is getting hurt every year
Bowen has the potential to be great, but this season he was a liability on the deep ball. Almost always in the right place, but never got his head around. Ends up blindly swatting at air instead of jumping for a pick. Fix that and he’ll be special.
Both of you make good points regarding Denver Harris. PT, your comments on KREF took a drastic turn, as you explained. BD, OU has had folks with questionable backgrounds. Switzer had gun carrying guys, like LR. Stoops pulled a scholarship of a Georgia kid who was carrying a gun
Sounds like the biggest problem with Harris is that he has problems being a team member period. Altercations, skipping practice etc. there isn’t anything illegal but maybe even more damaging that he is a locker cancer. The talent is obvious and was the #1 ranked DB in the sec ( PFF score wise ) and 3rd in the country as a freshman. So it sure would be interesting BV taking a guy like Harris. There would have to be some obvious growth and change I would think before BV risks having an unnecessary cancer in the locker room. His problems were NOT off the field issues they were ALL on the field in the locker room and program issue. I didn’t see anything that referenced a single “off field” issue. There is a big difference so you might want to describe his previous issues a little differently. Off field sounds like crimes committed. Locker room issues are locker room issues. As a reporter I would think the clarity would be important in order to have an honest narrative.
I cannot believe they haven’t hired a DC at this point! These small things make the the difference in the SEC. Kirby Smart, Nick Saban are defensive masterminds yet they would not sit around being incompetent about getting someone in to get the ball rolling. Another bad Head coaching decision
These "children (RB)" need to get over being the best player on the high school team mentality. SEC teams use many backs, much like the NFL. Najee Harris, 'Bama waited his turn. Sure, the kid at Boise got 30+ carries a game. Let's see how that works in his NFL career. UGA - Gurley and Chubb both struggled in their short NFL careers after being overused. UGA used 4 backs this year to include a walk-on, who got considerable run.
@ryanmckinney-ec6jf meaning the days of 3 down backs is coming to an end. Specialization and situation rule the game. RBs need to be able to understand their touches will be limited (8-12/per back) ensure they have great tape each time they touch the ball.
Eli Bowen was the best CB for OU last year. I love the way he plays but his speed and height make him a liability and he got burnt and gave up TD's against Bama, Missouri, and LSU becauseof it. As for Gentry, he simply can't stay healthy.
@@IanGomes-q7s Williams burnt Bowen for 2 TD's but thankfully both were called back. Bowen is great but you'd expect a 5'9 CB to have elite speed to makeup for the lack of height but Bowen has neither.
The other teams will have great WRs and they’ll make plays. You can’t expect anyone to break up every pass. There’s a reason he was freshman all American
@ ok and? I said he was good. He’s not elite, and would’ve gotten scored on twice by Ryan in the Bama game but got bailed out by a foot stepping out, and the refs cheating for us. Lost the Missou game by being too small, and got abused in the LSU game
Thanks! For all you guys do!! One of the best podcast for OU football. There is one better than you guys! You are 2nd best!

GS seems like a great young man. He looks like my grandmother trying to get out of the backfield.
Please can we leave him in the portal? I think that he might be more trouble than he might be worth and how will he fit in with the team/soul mission.
Maybe Oklahoma is exactly what he needs. Soul Mission included.
His off field shenanigans certainly couldn’t be any worse than the on field performances of every corner not named Eli Bowen 😂
Drumm quick to defend those local kids lol truth is Gentry might be 3 more years if he keeps on his current trajectory… that is getting hurt every year
The question we need answered is how does Parker’s wife feel about his new bad boy persona? 😂

Im just here for Parker in a hat

KNOWLES IS NOT COMING TO NORMAN! STOP THESE STUPID RUMORS
😂 Parker ain’t having this Denver stuff lmboooo. 🤣
Don't need Denver Harris he's trouble

Did I hear Parker say he never has seen Rocky? WTF
@@mikerobbins2139 Right! He needs to spend an entire Saturday doing a Rocky marathon.
They probably have someone just haven't made it public
Please never do the haiku thing again. I beg
And also X only got 6 carries in bowl
Parker “fluff my hair a little after I adjust my hat” Thune
As far as RBs. Nobody should transfer. Tatum plays baseball too. Never know if he goes pro in baseball

What’s your point? Don’t behave like children? Get used to there only being 1 back? Little confusing

Pretty sure he’s 1 of the fastest players on the team lol

Did bama even score a touchdown?

Eli Bowen is good. Far from elite, please stop boosting him up

Lol mongo should have just done 5 contributions of $20 😂
