    I am very impressed with this charger. It is fully automatic. It decides if the battery needs repaired and enters that mode, if it is necessary. Can be used for a car battery, or motorcycle battery, and other types as well.

    I just ordered mine and can't wait to test it out on 3 batteries. I may have another issue but having a fully charged battery will help me diagnose. Nice video regardless. Thanks

    Best video of this product. I just got one and plugged it in. It has been plugged in 20 minutes and on the display the the battery is completely empty. Yours started at 20% charging with it showing it’s working at the 2:17 time frame. Any ideas of what is going on with my battery charger?

      Normally it goes into “dFS” mode first, to descale. After this it starts to charge. If you are not getting those results, try selecting the Repair mode.

    Just ordered mine and it’s nice!!

    Mine arrived a couple of hours ago and will be going straight back - no "dFS" mode, shows "20%" on a new battery that is actually at 90%, when tested separately and power bands not "scrolling" left connected for 30 mins and no change.

    Hi, I just bought one. it is suppose to be loud? when i turned it on the fan makes a loud buzzing noise. is this normal?

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You might hear fan noise, but it shouldn’t buzz, like it is rubbing. If it continues, you might want to have them replace it.

    Is it dangerous to keep it on for long time period? Want to store my car

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When it is done with its repair cycle and charge, it turns off on its own. So it would be fine to leave it hooked up for a period of time.

    Why won't it charge at 10 amps? Always charging lower sometimes at 3 amp

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the question. Assuming that you have it set up correctly, the smart charger goes through multiple stages in charging a battery. The manual explains these stages (a link to a pdf of the manual is in the description). Beyond that, it will use the amperage that it believes the battery needs, and will ramp down the amperage, the closer it gets to full charge. The charger can supply up to 10 amps, but it will usually not send that many amps, unless needed. I hope that helps.

    where is maintenance mode?

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There are 5 modes on this charger: Car (normal lead acid battery), AGM, Deep cycle, Small batteries (motorcycle / lawn mower), and Repair mode. I am guessing that you are referring to "Repair Mode". In Repair mode the charge goes through a series of pulses and fluctuations to clear the plates of deposits, so that the battery can hold a charge again. To get to this mode, power up your unit and press the "mode" button 5 times. If you don't have the manual, and need to review it, I have put a link to the manual in the description. I hope this helps!

      @@lifeandgodliness How do you know if you need to activate and use the "repair" mode?

    I have a chevy, ACDelco Batterie will it charger my battery and what setting to put it on STD, AMG/GEL OR WET

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you hook the battery up and plug in your charger, it will probably display “dfs” as it enters the desulfurization stage. Once this is complete it will go it charge mode, and should default to “STD”, which is what you want for a standard car battery.

    • @ninoducati1951
      @ninoducati1951 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @lifeandgodliness thanks it did all that, but it didn't charge up after that does it mean my battery is completely dead or damaged?

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can try the Repair Mode. It will take a few hours to run through repair. Then try to charge normally. If that doesn’t do it, it may be a bad battery.

    Hi, I just ordered for one seems it's good smart charger. Can I plug directly without disconnecting car battery connector from the car?

    • @lifeandgodliness
      @lifeandgodliness  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The manual says to disconnect the battery from a vehicle before use. I have used it to charge a vehicle, while still connected, and it worked fine, but due to the calculations that it is making, it would be best to disconnect the battery when using, especially if repairing.
