The best way to get promoted is to find another job!!! I always jumped from a company to company in two to three years staying in one place. My salary increased by 20%-30%. If you want better job, salary, company etc. than find a new job! If you are staying in one place you won’t progress and develop new skills, unless you want to stay in a big 4 forever and die from the overtime!

She isn’t an accountant but you shouldn’t worry. Yes, some parts will be automated as any other job. For another 10-20 years it is safe. However you will need to become CA or CPA qualified and it’s can be challenging. Good luck!
Hey Jiya! It depends where you are, but if you're in Australia, the starting graduate salary is around $50K AUD. I believe accounting is still a good field to get into, the technological changes will not come around for a while. However, do keep in mind other emerging careers which may be in demand more and offer more job opportunities. These jobs include IT, social media, marketing, online education etc.

I agree! This is exactly what I did to get promoted. Yep my salary actually doubled which I thought was insane. haha die from the overtime! lol
