I guess the button lock is not safe for a fighter knife - as during the grip you may disengage the lock with harder squeeze of the handle....perhaps that's the reason. I'v done this with some of my button locks....great for fidget, but sometimes too easy to disengage.
A button lock karambit would be nice. I feel like if you want a good quality folding karambit with moderate fidget factor, you have very few options.
