    Awesome tutorial, thank you so much! I've been designing my tapestry crochet blankets in the paint program, which is crazy frustrating. I'm so glad this exists. Thank you again :)

    I'm not a quilter, but I do love them and have always been fascinated with people who make them. I bet this software would be wonderful for any quilter to create those beautiful quilts we all love.

    Fantastic information. Very useful program. Tried it because of your great video. So much easier than paper. Love I can pick yarn by color number. Thrilled with “Supplies” listing to tell me the quantities of each stitch color. Agree I like using the computer to layout blanket. So useful to use mobile (browser) while at store.Such an easy to use and time saver I may be purchasing soon.

    Another tip is to look into perler bead/cross stitch programs cause they work very similarly.

    Is there also a program that helps me to create round patterns?

  • @KatieCottingham

    Potentially great, but expensive. If I can't verify it can accurately translate a graph to written directions, I'm not dumping money into it. They should have a "one free pattern" trial or something because there's zero incentive to buy a subscription when you can't even tell if it's going to work for what you regularly do.

    Does anyone know how to set up a design by size dimensions in the software? Like say I wanted to make an 11x15in crochet wall hanging…Is there a way to enter those dimensions in and go from there? I understand type of stitch, yarn weight, and hook size play a role in how large the project would come out, but I’d like to start with dimensions if possible.

    Do you know if there's something to make a magic ring? In stitchfiddle or in another web? Stitchfiddle only works left to right/right to left, it doesn't work on the round...

    • @KatieCottingham

    Is there a way to make multiple charts of a continuing design from a picture? I'm not a designer but have several pictures, and a few silhouettes, that I would like to make into intarsia/fair isle patterns for double knitting. I'm not tech savvy even though this program seems very easy to use, but have looked and can't figure out how to make multi-chart patterns. There's a distinct possibility I'm missing something, of course, so I would be very grateful for some guidance and/or advice.
    Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

      You can turn images in a graph or written pattern. Choose how many colors you want and you can change little things in the graph so it will look better.

    • @1962tami
      @1962tami 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NatasjaVrij I believe you're talking about multiple *colors*, but I am referring to multiple *charts* --- as in more than one chart for a pattern. I do a lot of double knitting and the patterns I work from are anywhere from 2 charts up to 10. Most of them are of dragons or scenery and have a maximum row count of 698 extending over at least 8 charts or more for the entire design. How do you put a picture, or silhouette, in the program so that it's not all smooshed into one chart, making a tiny image? I hope I've explained this better.

    • @NatasjaVrij
      @NatasjaVrij 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@1962tami you can print your charts and of they don't fit on one page they will put it on multiple pages and i believe (if I remember correctly) you can choose how many pages
