I have done the same thing to the FAP on my old C5 but I used a pressure washer instead of a hose, and I must say, the car felt as good as new afterward. I replaced it for a DS5 and got the same error message, so I guess I'm going to be doing it once again..
Iv just done this on my van with the same stuff but I couldn't get the bag to seal the hole it kept leaking I ended up just giving it a bath side on fully submerged.. question? Where them small pipes screw into the dpf are they loose? Mine seem to have a lot of movement in them even though the bolts are nipped up tight
greetings, I have the same problem, the Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI showed the error risk of particle filter on the display and the car ran normally for a few days and now it went into safe mode. still be in safe mode, that is, do I have to cancel the error and what did you do after this cleaning? Thank you very much
Is not necessary to dismount the DPF to clean it. With the Diagnosis Equipment to can do one Forced regeneration, and it will be better if you use one maintenance additive to keep it clean. You will save a lot of time and will not be necessary to waste time dismounting and mounting the piece.
Can forced regeneration clean it like this, when you physically take it out and wash it couple times? I'm about to take it off and clean it preventively.
Nicely done, amazing job.

Forced regen is never a good idea it will contaminate your oil you need to fix the problem at hand
