- Washi Films are quickly becoming my favorite way of getting out of the box creative results. Today I took out my trusty Nikon F3 to test out my first roll of the Washi W, & I thought I would take you along with me on a photo walk, to show you how much fun you can have in one day experimenting with this crazy film stock, I also filmed the developing process in the dark room for the first time! hope you enjoy this one!

I really liked how that final shot of the water came out. Sparked lots of ideas. Thanks for all of the info!
Really enjoyed seeing you guys out on the field again and not just at your desks behind the mike ;) I’m excited to see what else you guys have planned for all of us! Another great video as per usual!! Thanks guys. See you Friday!
I really like the pictures . . .
I just ordered 3 rolls of this in 120. Very excited
Yessir, new video and starting off with a banger
thank you bro!
One of my favourite videos of yours yet dude! Looking forward to seeing more
More to come! thank you bro
I actually love using this filmstock!
I loved this!
amazing content!
Does Washi W create a direct positive or are you inverting it when you scan? Love the look!
you have to invert after scanning, it works just like normal negative black and white, but with a different base. So textured and cool!
@@CrunchyFingers Nice, I got a hold of some in 4x5 and can't wait to see it!
Good times man. Washington is one of those odd films for me, it is intriguing-but I have not yet tried it out. Developing in trays is doable in on sense, but quite difficult to really pull off at my home. I will think about it more though, these were some super interesting images
yeah the images were very interesting for sure, I'm looking forward to try the 120 version and not mess up half of the roll haha! btw you can develop it in a tank as well, you might have to be extra careful and check if there are compatibility issues but I'm pretty sure it's doable.. thank you for the nice comment :)
Henry Fox Talbot resurrected! To tell you the truth other than experimentation, i don't think i would give this a second try.
I will stay with my cut down x-ray film in bellows cameras. Much more pottential, depending on how you develop it and a great starting point for those who want to go in medium/large format the cheap way.
The photos look almost like charcoal drawings. I would love to see them printed and enlarged.
Opening the filmbag had some kind of sexual feeling to it.
Really cool videos. Looking forward to see more.
haha exactly! I'm so happy you picked up on it lol
how did i manage to accidently open this video so quickly
law of attraction lol
