Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.

A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I now focus on my vlog full time.

A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).

You have taken more time to wash the dishes by hand and to put nicely the pillows and the blankets on the sofa, you have taken more time to put away the toys to. I like your style and I aspire to be more efficient with my cleaning time like you.

So basically you could both speed clean for five minutes at the same time and have your main area tidy before bed. I think this is a new habit my husband & I are going to put into place TONIGHT! Lol

@@surlespasdondine oh yes. It was crazy to me long time ago already. The improvement takes a long time as the resistance is grand. Hard to give up privileges. I will take another generation in my opinion to really make it prevalent enough, so that not doing it would be the exception, not the norm.
You can tell that he cleans as he knows what has to be done. God, I love you two together! It's clear you are partners in life and yet, you don't portrait it as perfect (as there is not such thing) but healthy and loving!! This warms up my heart!
When I’m super overwhelmed and feel everything is bundling up, I just set the timer for ten minutes and this helps me gain control. And I know I can get it done within that.

I’m kind of amazed at the comments on this video. He’s an adult- it’s completely normal that he should tidy up, and know where things go.
He’s not ‘helping out emily’ or doesn’t need a pat on the back for contributing to the running of the household. (Which it sounds like he does- it’s the comments that have shocked me!)

I know that this is an old video as was the one where you did the 10 min. speed tidy up. But I just watched both of them and got sooo inspired! It's truly amazing how much you can get done in just 10 minutes!!

Thanks for this fun cleaning video. Your "before" "mess" is hilarious. I easily have that much clutter in just one room... not including stacks of paper. Nevertheless I set the timer for 10 minutes. It keeps me from getting distracted. When it goes off I typically have the energy and motivation to start it again, and again, and again 😄. I know if I just did a little each day ... but there are trails to hike, bikes to ride and dogs to walk 😉
He knows what goes where and where to find what he needs. That's half the job done, isn't it. Good on you, Matt.

You two are so cute! I think one of the first videos of yours I watched was Matt doing a whole house clean so I don’t need to be convinced. Matt is very helpful and capable around the house! Wow the way he arranges all the pans and plates in their respective cupboards or drawers without thinking which one to open was mind blowing. Meanwhile my husband will be like "where will the spoons and plates go"and even may ask "where is the sink" 🙄
The cushions and throws! 🤣 Reminds me of when my husband makes the bed 🤷🏻♀️🙈 He also just puts the stuff back in random places in the kitchen. ‘Hunt the cheese grater’ is a regular in our house 🙄
Nowadays my newborn give me only ten minutes time to clean up or tidy up !!so its automatic..by the way in your coyntry dishwashers are blessing !!! Here in pakistan we have to do dishes by hands or have to keep maid 😟😟anyways !!! Thanks for motivation!!!💕💕💕
