Your message in this video is clear and simple, and above all, I believe it is 100% scriptural. Thanks for posting it. Amen!

All of that to prove you believe in a works for salvation false gospel.

@@EugeneHolley-rc6ry huh? Please read Ephesians 2:8-10, and James 2:19&20, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38, Mark 2:17...
      Shall I go on?
Sounds to me like you're not willing to surrender your life to Jesus, but want to maintain your own ways.
"The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" -
      2 Timothy 4:3,4.
Please give your life to the Lord on HIS terms, according to the entire Word of God.

@@AndrewSchwankl We are not told we need to surrender our life to Jesus, we are told that we must put our faith in what he has done for our salvation, we are not told to give our life to the Lord, could you give scriptures for the surrendered life you speak of, or giving your life to the Lord?

@@EugeneHolley-rc6ry First off, have you read the description I included with the video you watched? I try to cover things fairly well for any video done.
As for Christ's Lordship, it goes hand in glove with repentance and becoming a new life in Jesus.
Even so, I thought of a few more scriptures that reflect a surrender to God's will & leadership in our lives.
My wife & I have been married about 23 years; we pledged lifetime commitment to each other and I've changed. I can't continue to live as a single man, and my behavior has changed, not because I had to, but because I love my wife, take care of her, and seek her happiness.
That's the way scripture describes Christianity, like a marriage. Jesus saved me through His own BLOOD because I am otherwise trapped by sin.
But to know what MY sins cost Him makes me love Him more; causing me to want to please Him with my life!
And so, knowing the price He had to pay for those sins makes me seek to turn from them, NOT to earn salvation, but a love -gratitude response for His mercy.
      Matthew 22:37, Mark 10:27-22, Luke 6:46, 9:23, 14:33, John 12:25,14:23, 15:13,14, Acts 5:2-11, Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 6:14-18, Philippians 3:7-14, Colossians 3:1-10, 2 Peter 1:3-11, James 4:4
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." -1 John 1:8,9

@@AndrewSchwankl None of the scriptures you have given say anything about Lordship salvation, some you have used are for those that are under the law, and we are not now under the law, nor have we ever been under the law, you are conflating grace with works, Romans 11:6.

You used a lot of dogwhistles. If someone tells you to repent, and you "believe them"....the repentance goes without saying. And, if you will pardon the returning of fire, "What are you going to do to keep yourself saved, or get yourself unsaved again, exactly?" To which we usually get the response, "Oh I'm not going to!!" Why is it that the Wesleyans, Free Will Baptists, Pentecostals, and the CoCers don't ever seem to acknowledge that they plan to do what they claim is possible? Do you guys realize how incredibly stuck up you sound? "People can lose their salvation but I know that I'M NOT GOING TO, that's something the baptists would do!"

Well, I will admit that I have met one exception that admitted that he, himself, personally had succeeded in doing that. But he had an anabaptist name like Dettwiler and he committed the sin of....joining the United States Marines. He actually had a really good apologetics blog that he started as a ministry to try to discourage suicide. I was sad to see it eventually get let go, even if he had some theology that we believers don't agree with.
