I'm just happy that its been a mostly peaceful process in Texas so far. We can all disagree about politics like grown ups. Other than a few stolen signs I've seen on the news and one Assault case in San Antonio I think
Amen to that!! Hopefully that’s something that ALL Texans can agree on 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 my wife’s parents said that in Dallas a bunch of Harris signs in their neighborhood were spray-painted and damaged, but yeah, other than those things, I’m also very grateful that we’ve been able to have a peaceful process thus-far 🙏🇺🇸🙏
I would say low turnout in Texas is bad for Trump. I'm sure he'll carry Texas, no problem. If there is low turnout there though, it is almost certainly Republicans who are not voting since that is the majority of Texans. Obviously they could make up the difference on election day but we'll see.
What about Nikki Haley voters who vote blue? The math is better for people who switch because it’s not only taking a vote AWAY from Trump, it’s also ADDING a vote for Harris. So you only need 1/2 the number of votes with that math. Since Nikki Haley was only ~20% in the primaries, if 1 out of every 5 Nikki Haley Voters vote against Trump and instead vote for Harris, that is ~4% of the total Texas voting population. Harris could technically take the lead because 4% leaving Trump and voting for Harrris would be an 8% swing statewide (assuming the 20% Nikki Haley vote translates to the entire state, which probably would be lessened if anything, but still). Just throwing that out there 🤷♂️
@@clintrandolph8283 2020 was an outlier for early voting because of the extra week to vote and more absentee ballots. Turnout this year is pretty good compared to other elections.
Plenty of Dems voted in the GOP primary this year which is distorting the party turnout figures.
I think it’s because plenty of Dems will be voting for Trump.
Texas doesn’t register in a party. So they can’t tell what party you are voting for.
@@katherinedemott298 I know. The guy in the video said they assume who you are voting for based on which party's primary you voted in.
I wonder who pays this guy for his polls
I can only hope women came out to vote for Kamala and the men stayed home.
The men will not stayed home because they want affordable groceries and a closed border
The dif looks like mail in voting
Won’t there be less this time around?

Trump is so creepy.
Yeah, this is Texas' maga-smack!
Rs are cannibalizing in EV.
Texas goes for Trump so no hurry to vote in the lone state state .
There is a very real possibility of texas turning blue. Although the voter turnout doesn't bode well for Dems.
