i’m not sure how the copyright/trademark stuff goes with showing these games but this would be a massive series. most fans don’t have time to sit and watch the majority of nba games so with this 15min summary and your commentary, it’s incredible

It's allowed within TH-cam's rules. The caveat is that you have to add value to the initial video with your commentary, so if youtube thinks he's not adding value they'll demonetize him. I don't think that will happen though.
NBA has allowed all sorts of usage of games in TH-cam videos as of late, idk what caused the change but I’m not complaining for now while it still exists

3:23 Porzingis averages 1.46 points per post up on 2.8 post ups per game. Literally leading the league among players with more than 2 post ups per game. Next best is KAT at 1.28 points per post up. If you drop the requirements down to 1 post up per game, KP is second only behind Shai (1.50 points per post up).
KP is having one of the most efficient post up seasons in almost a decade.
The Celtics are incredibly inconsistent cause we played incredible in that 4th quarter but horrendous in the 3rd

I have been surprised by how well the Thunder have been doing this season. I have to be a fan of them since I live im OKC and always believed in them. Youngest team in the league and so far this season been one of the best. The chemistry and efficiency have been crazy.
Note: Just saw a press conference with Zach Snyder and Trae Young for the game against the Hawks tonight. Trae is talking about "they are too young to understand their positions right now" while Snyder was saying "Even with being the youngest in the league they have proven to be a force to be reckoned with."

Shai was tuff all game. Jaylen brown struggled, bc the thunder is a team that forces turnovers, and he’s notoriously turnover prone. Kristaps can had his way with the thunder tho. They should go to that matchup more next time they play. That way you can have Tatum guard Sga the whole game and not have to worry about him being tired on the offensive side. I can see this being a ver competitive 7 game series, and whoever had home court advantage, takes it
yeah I noticed that’s how boston got some good points in the paint. they would have someone other than kristaps drive the paint and draw chet in. then when they have chet go for a swat, they kick it to kristaps behind chet for the open bucket. very good tactic. loved the dub for my thunder, but that was the play I saw the most that we couldn’t stop. okc boston would be a very interesting finals this year, but I can’t think about that yet. still in the phase with these young guys where a second round exit is a very successful season; would be a big step up from missing the playoffs by one game last year
Bad calls on the Celtics and the Dwhite injury in the beginning of the game also changed the approach for the remainder of the game. KP and others were getting hacked all game and the refs let it play on making the offense lean more towards perimeter work. Jrue was also lacking and the Thunder just couldnt miss.
@@inthedrought2545 I didn’t feel like the refs were THAT much of an impact on that game, but to each their own. it does not seem like the nba is against the celtics; also if there was a team the nba would push for to win that game, it’s probably boston. but you could make the case that they want a young small team to make it far for the underdog story. whatever. either way it didn’t seem to me to be a horribly officiated game in favor of okc. also KP was almost never touched at all when he got those backdoor shots at the rim, so I have no idea what any other hacking that went on has to do with my original observation and APPLAUSE to the celtics. rooting for boston to come out of the east btw. I like tatum
@@maxshirley21 To dive more specifically on why SGA is so tuff, all his points were pretty much off drives and isos. Like he didn't even need to use a screen. And whenever he did call for a screen, he'd reject it and blow past his defender. You can't stay in front of him and if you get in his way to the rim, he'll just step back and hit a middy. He doesn't even need to chain together moves either, he's so efficient. It's never more than a couple dribbles and he gets to his spot. I'm a Celtics fan but I can't help but rave about SGA. Easily one of my favorite players to watch. I'd like to Tatum be the primary defender against him and see if we can slow him down some. Truthfully tho, we should be sending double teams his way all game, bc he's too good 1on1
@@santiagofernandez-soto3892 yeah I appreciate you as a fan of another team liking shai. i don’t understand the hate he gets from some just cause he’s good. ofc he does carry himself with swagger, but he doesn’t come off as a dick imo. he’s always praising his teammates and coaches in interviews; he is also a very good passer, so that shows respect for his teammates and also makes a double team tough to defend because we’ve collected and trained a lot of shooters around him. truly a marvel of a basketball player to watch. even if it’s not this year, I have no doubt he will be and mvp at some point, though his toughest competition is tatum and book and luka. all those young guys are so exciting to watch already and none of them have even entered their prime. such an exciting time in the league

Think that Okc is really putting together a good team but I think this will more than likely be a season where they’re arriving and make the playoffs and get experience and due to that will be even better next year. Going from not making playoffs to finals is tough but we’ll see.
I think they need a few heartbreaking playoff losses to really push this team toward the finals. I can't see it happening this year tbh

As a celtics fan, this game was extremely entertaining, Shai is so shifty but I think our experience would push us over the edge in a potential finals matchup
The difference in the game was Giddey going 4-7. He’s a career 30% shooter, but against Boston in his career he shoots 50% from 3.

8:40 Shai’s body positioning really sells to Jrue that he’s going to use the screen. As soon as Jrue starts to slide over the screen, Shai plants and rejects the screen, forcing Jrue and the screener’s defender out of position for an easy drive.

Being a fan of this team for years, watching what happened a decade ago, the team falling apart for the last several years this season has given me reason to believe again

This article came out like a day ago on bleacher report showing all the trade targets for each team and this is the potential trade targets for the C's and the best option would be Andre Drummond especially that he's been playing like the young Andre as of late and we need a big ass dude in the paint to stop people like giannis antetokounmpo and Embid

The full-strength Celtics arguably have the Association's best top-six (or even top-seven if you're a fervid Sam Hauser fan), so they might just snooze through trade season and wait to see what the buyout market has to offer. Then again, the back end of their reserve rotation looks pretty bleak, so they might take a more proactive approach.
They don't have much in the way of wing depth, which is why Osman and Konchar top the list. Both offer some dot-connecting, jack-of-all-trades appeal, and either could slide into the eighth or ninth spot in the rotation.
Drummond, an obvious trade candidate should the Bulls ever blow it up, would offer some paint protection to a center mix that might need more insurance given Kristaps Porziņģis' injury issues and Al Horford's age (37).

I feel like Celtics know how to beat OKC, they just went to it way later than they should have. Once they decided to play the right match ups things changed drastically in the 4th. In the playoffs you don't get the whole staying away from cheap fouls on defense until the 4th kind of thing. They allow a lot more contact during the playoffs especially if you are known as a harder and more physical defense. Was a great game though. I feel like Derrick White needs more shots in my opinion lol.
I feel like Okc matches up well against the Celtics. Almost a year earlier to the date, Okc blew out the Celtics 150 - 117! And that was without SGA!
