- In this Farming Simulator 17 tutorial I show you how to setup Courseplay for selling grain using the Graintransport Mode. In this video I am selling Wheat on Sosnovka to clear out some storage space, but you can use this methode for prepairing Courses for when Great Demands occurs.

So I've used Courseplay since FS13, and have never had an issue with it until now. I updated to 5.2 recently (hadn't updated it in forever) and when I try to use the grain transport, I run into issues with the "farm silo is empty, wait for more" message popping up. I made sure it wasn't the wrong crop being selected, even tested multiple crops, and all had the same issue. I had never dealt with this issue, I set the trailer underneath the silo, ran the course, even tried placing the final waypoint directly next to the first waypoint, and it still stops slightly short. It puts the nose of the truck just barely behind the final waypoint and the trailer not underneath. If I load the course and tell it to start at the first waypoint, when "current waypoint" starts it 3 away from the final waypoint, it sits there and gives the "farm silo is empty" message. I also tried telling it to drive now, hoping that fixes the issue, and it did not resolve it, only stopping just short of the final waypoint again.
Is there something I am doing wrong all of a sudden? In FS15 and FS17, I always set it up exactly as you have shown here, and I never had these issues, even with the exact same vehicles. Any possible suggestions?
For clarity, I am using a PickupTT with a HKD302 trailer currently. Could a switch to a larger truck and trailer fix it? Or is this something I should contact the developers over?
From what you describe here, you are doing everything as you should. Try setting up the course using a vanilla trailer. I have experienced some issues with modded equipment every now and again. Stuff like the fill trigger not being recognized and so on. If it works with a vanilla trailer, it is the modded trailer that is the issue. If not, I would say you should make a post at the developers github: github.com/Courseplay/courseplay
I think I figured out the issue, and note for everyone: save your game and reload it every couple hours, it helps reset courseplay and fixes a lot of problems! It also gave me an excuse to buy a bigger truck and trailer and re-record paths for them, so I guess it's good that it had an issue lol

Great job am learning a lot, will this work OK if you have two trailers hooked together with a dolly? Keep up the great work I might get this figured out before FS19 comes out.
I haven't tried setting it up with more than one trailer, but I think it should work just fine :) I am really happy to hear you can use my videos to get an understanding of Courseplay. It is such a great mod :)

Could I use this mode for a truck buying compost on Oakfield and tipping it at my desired field?
Not sure if you can use it for compost, but in theory it should be enough to setup at transport course, and set an unload point where you want the compost to be tipped. That would do the same thing as this grain transport course I have setup in this video :)
if you click your mouse on the white box next to ACROS 595 PLUS IS IN TRAFFIC that will take you to that vehicle

Hey James! Happy to see that you like the video :) I haven't actually been using a mother bin in FS17, but I am sure it would work fine. I'll have a look if I can make a video, but sadly it might take a while before I can find time for it. Real life is seriously taking a tow on my time at the moment.
I have same issue as you at selling point. No money what so ever when I use Courseplay. Hmm wierd. Many hours of work just gone, or am I doing something wrong?
There is a button next to the delivery point at the Transport Company that will send the train off. When it has left the map your goods are sold and you recieve your payment.

How come my course play doesn't detect the triggers?
It could be a lot of things causing this. It can be a mod conflict (most like is if you are using a mass adjustment mod). Can be the mode you are using when driving the course (Be sure not to use transport mode). Could be a faulty trailer mod you are using (try using a vanilla trailer). Could be badly crated modmap in your mod folder. There really is a ton of different things that could cause this error.
My best suggestion to you would be to try the setup with a clean mod folder using vanilla equipment on a vanilla map and see if you get the same mistake.
Hi! It's great tutorial. If you connect the second trailer the course still working :D I use the three trailers with courseplay in Fs15. What Is the name of mod which change icon grain and any others to name and return?

lol yeah farming has been good to me ;) But I actually didn't notice that I didn't get paid when selling the wheat. That was weird

Anyways, I've been watching all your videos the past couple days. I really enjoy them. In fact I'm in the middle of watching the 2 part silage with courseplay, AGAIN!! Lol. Plz keep em coming if you got time. I understand how long it takes to make AND edit a video. I make drone videos on my channel. These past 2 months though has been a nightmare for me. Both my fulltime job and my private life has been taking up all my energy and time, and sadly my TH-cam channel has suffered from it. I am getting back on schedule though and currently I have a guy working on finishing a script for me for a FS17 map that I am working on and that is definitely something I am looking forward to. It will bring livestream and tons of new videos to the channel again ;)
I also plan on having a look at some of the tutorial videos for Courseplay and see if it would make sense to update them according to the new functions and features in Courseplay :)

You only get paid when you use the trigger to send the train off, you probably know that by now anyway. - Got a question though: I've set up a course in the same way but the tractor / truck doesn't seem to load anything from the silo on the second run. Have you had this problem?
