Thanks for posting this. In trying to perfect this song for my next visit to see my late brother's widow, whose eyes lit up when I tried singing this song to her on my last visit, I found this! She has Altzeimers, as my eldest sister. They thrive on old songs like this and I feel a connection from a far away place!
Beautiful, Heather! Love the song by the lovely Jo Stafford and a wonderful video by you! I didn't know Ray Milland could dance...a beautiful routine, for sure. Wishing you a wonderful new week, my friend :)) Jim
+nipstertunes I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Jim! I love this song, and Ms. Stafford's version is beautiful. I didn't know he could dance, either! Thanks for watching and commenting! Wishing you a wonderful new week as well, my friend :))
This is one of my all time favorite songs. I love Jo Stafford, but I particularly love this song. Much respect to you from Larry.
Remembering my mom singing this song to us. Thanks for taking care of us Mama while you were here on earth.
Thank you for posting. It's gone from Spotify, and I liked it in my "Ballads for The End of Summer" playlist. :)

Was this really a colour film from 1940? But it had to be, considering her blue gown......
The gown was Alice Blue.
