I'm stupidly obsessed with world History, foreign culture, world religions and languages.
I've a personal goal of going to one or more services for almost all religions, learn some words/phrases from almost all languages (and be able to write and say it) along with a few other similar goals.
Most of the Asian languages are the hardest for me specifically the assorted Chinese, Thai and Korean.... It's so difficult. I can hear the accents and with out looking at the person can tell you the language and in some cases the region as well, can look at someone and do the same but trying to make heads or tails of the writing.... No clue.
Asia is my weakest spot (with the exception of India) the languages, writings, names, History, geography and so on.
It's kinda funny because my husband's strongest point is Asia and his weakest spot is my strongest....

I'm always paranoid about being quiet when I wake up. I don't snore but I'm certain my breathing pattern changes. I'm prior military though so that could be why. I don't know but I hear you. Being very, very quiet and sweeping a building you intend to hide in is critical to minimizing getting caught slipping. Even that's no guarantee.
