It's honestly hard to find someone with higher voice around here, so I think they may wanted to stick more to the reality rather than original..? I don't know for sure though
There's nothing wrong with being excited for accent representation, but if I'm being honest, it feels like people are only ever excited for EN voices *when someone has an accent.* Muelsyse and Skadi are some of my favorite EN voices and I don't often hear anybody talk about them at all.
As someone who enjoys the English dub in whatever games have it, I'm just happy there isn't more people crapping on it and proclaiming that JP dub is superior in the Arknights fandom. I also like Muelsyse and Skadi english voiceovers! Im just waiting for Gladiia's, personally.
Already enough with multi dubbing in Tekken Heihachi speak Japanese when he talk with Eddy and Lidia, the worst thing is their responses. Eddy response with Portugues language and Lidia with Polish languange. Barrier languge is doesnt make sense in Tekken. I'm glad Arknights doing different thing like finding English-Scottish Accent, English-Polish accent, British accent for Victoria peoples, English-Swedish accent, English-Russian accent etc.
Skadi and Muelsyse already had their periods of excitement lol. It’s extremely awesome when they actually represent their terran equivalents with fitting accents because it shows the dub team cares, when we get american sounding voices for american characters it’s just like “cool? they would’ve done that anyways”
Don't get me wrong, I love that operators have accents, I just wish people would be more excited for "accentless" operators, because I think those can be and have been done well before.

Completely blindsided by how incredibly Polish she and Zofia sounded, especially after Margaret and the comparably thinner Polish accent of Mylnar.
Well Margaret has spent a long time out of Kazimierz so losing her accent makes sense as for mlynar idk
If I did a DNA test and I found any amount of Polish heritage I would be so happy.

I think it's because it's refreshing to hear them at all IMHO, especially when they're done well.
